Chapter-14: Dilemma

*Damon's POV*

I watched as Jayde stormed out of the house. She just needs to blow off steam. Jeydon came downstairs chasing after her but I stopped him. "Let her go man, she needs to blow off steam," I said. He just sighed and sat down on the couch.

After a while, I started getting worried. I mean, it's been a couple hours since Jayde stormed out, I at least figured she would be back by now. What if something happened to her? I know she knows her way around town but like what if some creepy old mad tried talking to her?

God, please watch over her and make sure she is safe. Please.

*Jeydon's POV*

She still isn't back yet. It's all my fault. Maybe, just maybe if I hadn't said anything about her and Adam, everything would be fine. I know she wouldn't cheat on me but what if she goes back to him? He broke her heart and they have something together. They gave each other their innocence. They also dated for almost three years.

They were each others first love. They were always together. Holding hands in the halls, stealing kisses in the stair well, walking each other to classes, cuddling, and even sharing laughs.

Every time he was over and I was there, my heart clenched. I wanted so badly for that to be us. Now that I finally had what I wanted, I fucked it up.

"Hey guys, has Jayde seemed off lately?" Mariah whispered softly. She hasn't really opened up and she's been really emotional lately. Almost as if she is keeping things bottled up inside.

"What do you mean?" Damon asked. He's clueless. I love him like a brother but he is clueless sometimes. Yet he has had some homesick issues lately. So I can't really blame him for not knowing what's going on.

"Well she hasn't said anything. She has been really emotional. Normally she talks about this stuff. Yet she hasn't." Mariah said softly. She was never really a loud person. Well ever since douche bag she hasn't been.

"Guys, maybe there is something bigger. I mean I've known her for a while. Maybe it could have to deal with her mom. I mean everybody likes to bring it up and every time someone does I see pain flash through her eyes," Kellin said while looking up from his phone. I forgot he was even here.

"You're right she has been keeping things bottl-" I began to say but the door opened, revealing Jayde. She looked at us and stormed into the room slamming the door. The smell of alcohol lingered in the living room. She was out partying. Great.
