Evening came, and Samar brought Shivika her lunch in the room. She ate slowly, savoring the quiet moments. Afterward, a sense of boredom crept in and she fell asleep.

Shivika's POV

"Shivu…" I heard a soft, almost whispered sound. A faint rustle of something, the rhythm of his presence filling the air. I slowly opened my eyes to find Samar standing there, Looking perfect.

"Ho gaya sab?" (Done with your surprise?)  I asked, my voice still a little sleepy but filled with curiosity

"Ho gaya sab?" (Done with your surprise?)  I asked, my voice still a little sleepy but filled with curiosity.

"Ji, ab aapko tayaar karna hai," (Yes, now I've to get you ready) he said, his eyes lighting up, like a child who couldn’t wait to show me a secret treasure.

"Uffff, sara taam jham karenge aap," (Uffff, you're gonna do all the drama) I sighed playfully, rubbing my eyes, but there was no stopping the smile creeping onto my lips.

He grinned, that mischievous little glint in his eyes. He handed me a bag, and as I opened it, I found a delicate white saree, its fabric soft and shimmering, almost as if it held some ethereal glow.

"Samar, mujhe saree pehene nahi aati," (samar, i don't know how to wrap a saree) said, feeling a little unsure, a touch of sadness in my voice.

He smiled, his voice gentle but full of assurance. "Wrap on hai jaan," (It's wrap on) he said. "Ab jaldi se change karo, jao," he urged, excitement sparkling in his eyes.

I chuckled, a soft laugh escaping me as I shook my head at his antics. But there was warmth in my heart as I headed to the changing room. The saree wasn’t as complicated as I thought, and before I knew it, I was standing before the mirror, admiring the graceful folds of white fabric. Why didn’t I wear these more often?

As I stepped out, I could feel his gaze on me

As I stepped out, I could feel his gaze on me. Samar was staring at me with the wonder of a child who’d just seen something magical. His eyes were soft, full of love, as if everything in the world had suddenly slowed down just to admire me.
