'We never talk about it'

Link's POV:

What? I don't want to talk to her about myself? She's mad at me? What did I do? I see Impa walk out the classroom, and walk over to her.

"Hey Impa... what did you say to Zelda in the bathroom earlier?"

"Uh... why?" She says crossing her arms.

"Because she was crying when she came into class, and then after class she seemed mad at me?"

"Mad at you? What did you do?"

"I don't know. I just wanted to know what you said to her in the bathroom because she came back crying." I say hoping that she tells me.

"Well... we weren't talking about you." She says.

"Okay..." I say, a little impatiently.

"Well... okay. We talked about you for a little bit." Oh my Hylia. What did Impa say to her? "I was worried that you might've tried... something in the car earlier. So I wanted to make sure you didn't do anything to her." She thought I was trying to have sex with her? In a school parking lot?

"Uh... well." I say a bit awkwardly. "I promise I wasn't trying to do anything."

"That's what Zelda said too. But then what in Hylia's name were you doing on top of her?"

"Well... um. She was saying that I was blushing, because she kissed me-"

"Where?" She interrupts me.

"What?"

"Where did she kiss you?" Impa asks.

"On my cheek." I say slowly. This conversation is very awkward.

"Oh, Okay... so anyways, continue."

"So, then I told her that it was her turn to blush, so I started to lean in to kiss her but then you came."

"And this is true?"

"Yes, Impa. It's true. What else did you say to her?"

"Um well. When we were talking about you... trying to do things, that you actually weren't doing." She says quickly. "She asked who would try that in a public area... and I said..."

"Ganon." I sigh.

"Yeah... I told her she needs to report him, but she kind of just avoided me. But he's done it three times now, Link." She says in a whisper.

"I know... she told me. She really does need to report him... but when I try to bring him up she always just shuts down. Then she starts crying, and I just don't know how to handle it."

"Wait, you said she's upset with you? What did she say to you?" Impa asks.

"Well I said that she can always talk to me, and she said she knew, but apparently I don't want to talk to her about myself. I don't even know where she's coming from."

"That has nothing to do with what Zelda and I were talking about. What'd you do to make her say that?"

"I don't know, that's the thing. I mean in the car she thought something was going on with me." Which there is... but I don't need to tell Impa. "But she got a bit frustrated because I wouldn't tell her anything. Then I said I would if she told me everything about Ganon. Then she just said that she's told me all that she could and that was pretty much it."

"Does she talk about a lot of this stuff with you often?" Impa asks.

"Um not really. She doesn't like to talk about it. I don't blame her... but she needs to talk about it with someone."
