"And that's a wrap!"
The director's voice echoed and everyone cheered at that. Actors and crews began to thank each other for their hard work. As for Orm, a sigh of relief blew past her lips. Months of living away from home finally paid off. Her dream was to star in a movie alongside great Hollywood actors, and she made it. There were mixed feelings inside her that she couldn't put into words. But on top of it all, now that she had finished filming, she just couldn't wait to go home. She just wanted to rest and tell this amazing story to the ones she loved.
"I've packed everything and double-checked everything. Your stuff is in the car, we're ready to go to the airport whenever you are."
Orm flashed a grateful smile at her assistant. Ever since she insisted on going without her mom, the old woman made sure that her assistant had helped her with all the things she needed and also regularly updated her mom about her activities. She'd been hopping from one country to another, moving from one set to another. It was exhausting, yes. But it was a great experience for her to explore the world as well as the entertainment industry.
"I'm ready to go home now."
The assistant nodded before leading Orm to the car, the bodyguards tagged along. Orm then fished out her phone once she settled in her seat, she dialed her mom's number and her mom answered after a few rings.
"Orm.."
"Hello, Mae."
"Did you finish the filming, my child?"
"I did, Mae. I'm heading to the airport now."
"Already?"
"Yes. And Mae..."
"Yes?"
"I'm gonna stop by at Phi's house and stay there for a couple of days. I'll visit you and Dad on Sunday, is that okay?"
"Do you miss her more than you miss me now?"
Mae Koy teased her daughter, and even though Orm couldn't see her mom right now, but she knew her mom was smiling while teasing her.
"Mae, it's not like that!"
"Okay okay, I got it. Besides, your Phi's been waiting for you. Make sure to take her with you when you come to visit us on Sunday, okay?"
"I will. I'll talk to you later, okay? I'll call you once I land."
After bidding goodbye to her mom, Orm ended the call and put her phone in her purse. She stared at the clouds outside the window. Her mind drifted to the time when she filmed The Secret of Us. Time flew, she mumbled to herself. She recalled the time when she was with all the cast from that series, it was fun and full of memories. Her first experience in a GL series.
A smile slowly appears on her beautiful face at the thought of a particular person. Her favorite person. Lingling. They were the total opposite of each other, yet somehow, they clicked so well. It never failed to amaze her how Lingling was so patient and attentive towards her. Though she had more GL projects with Ling after TSOU, for her, the memory of TSOU still held a special place in her heart and mind.
The level of intimacy that they had. The small touches. The stolen glances. The hugs. The small kisses. The real kisses. Everything felt so right when she was with her P'Ling. Aside from her mom, Ling was the one who could understand her best. She felt grateful for everything Ling did for her. And she was really happy to witness the growth and success of her favorite Phi.
She tried to meet other people. Explore more about the entertainment world. A few years passed and she still hadn't found someone like Lingling Kwong. Not that she wanted to find someone else. The feelings she had for Ling, she just didn't feel when she was with others. She wasn't sure if it made sense at all. But it was what it was.
