Emma was called for her turn, and when she entered the interview room,she saw her childhood friend Drake Lawson sitting in the seat meant for the CEO. She was stunned but composed herself. When her interview was over, she was told by a secretary to wait in the CEO's office. Emma fell asleep while waiting. By the time Drake finished all the interviews, it was very late, around seven in the evening.

The interview room
Drake was very surprised when he saw Emma at the interview he couldn't believe that the little girl who was always carrying a book around had grown up to be such a stunning lady who took his breath away the moment he saw her. When Drake found her asleep in his office, he felt odd because the interview ended hours ago. He tried to wake her up, but she seemed to be in a deep sleep. So Drake decided to send her home, and he carried her to his car.
Drake reached home to find out that his housekeeper wasn't there and all the guestrooms were not cleaned, so he had no choice but to send her to his room. Drake placed her on the bed, but Emma suddenly hugged Drake's arm, refusing to let go of him using his arm as a pillow. So he had no choice but to sleep beside her for the fear of waking her up .
Emma woke up to find herself lying on a huge soft bed covered with dark bedings in a room styled in black and white. When she tried to get up, she felt a hand wrapped around her waist and preventing her from getting up.Just then a loud scream awoke Drake from his slumbers.
"Who the hell is that?" "Drake!! It's you. Where am l?" Emma said in surprise "Chill, Emma, you're in my room." Drake said as he pulled Emma towards his chest whilst Emma punched him. "Dude, hands off." "Oww, Emma, that hurts. Why so grumpy this morning ?"

Drake's room
Emma just ignored him and started to get off the bed, but Drake pulled her back, making her fall unto him . "Drake, stop that ." "Wow, my little girl is all grown up, and now she doesn't even miss me."Drake cried dramatically.
"Is being a drama queen your new style now ,and you big meanie I won't even miss even if you were my other half." "Gosh, that hurt Emma. Why ?" "Why!! you think it is normal to suddenly disappear and reappear four years later acting as if you were never gone. And on top of it, you miraculously became the hier of Lawson Corp.I tried my best to find you thinking I lost my beasrfriend because of a stupid flower." Emma said as she broke down in tears.
Drake hugged her, comforting her with soothing words ."Emma, I am truly sorry, I didn't mean to disappear like that. That day when I went into the forest to pick blue roses for you since you said you've always wanted to see one .But before I could pick, I was knocked out when I woke up. I found myself in a place they referred to as '''The Basement.'" l tried my best to get out, but the only was to kill and bathe in bloody battles .During the journey, I met Daron and Aaron, my closest friends, now. I also learnt that my father was Raphael Lawson .l spent two years in the camp with Aaron and Daron. When I got out, Aaron found his family while Daron and I joined Lawson Corp. Now I am the CEO, and he is the Vice. Aaron is now a doctor with the sponsorship of his family .Emma, I searched for, but I couldn't find you.The orphanage was also closed down, and the children were transferred to different institutions .Every information about you was erased it was like you didn't exist ."
"Oh Drake, how much l missed you .By the way, where am I ?"Emma said as she hugged him. "You're in my room ,I told you after minutes ago . Emma, I can't believe it when I saw you at the interview today. The little girl who was always carrying a book around following me had grown up to be such a stunning lady who took my breath away the moment i saw her ." Drake said while ruffling Emma's hair,Emma let him him because she liked the way he caressed her hair.
"You sure cause you look like the son of the ancient Greek god Adonis and the goddess Aprodite's son." "Don't be jealous. I know I'm handsome. Feel free to covet it, my little fairy queen, because it is already yours ." Yeah, yeah, but Drake, how did my interview go?" "Your resume was impressive. Why didn't you write all your certificates on it ?" "Whatever, did l get the job or not ?" "Mind your tone. I am officially your boss. Unfortunately, you didn't get the secretary role, but you are now my personal assistant .Report to the company tomorrow." "Yes, sir!!" There was a sudden silence as they were both drawn into their own thoughts until Drake broke the trance "Emma, will you forgive me and accept me as your best friend again. I promise you that I will make it up to you ." "Stop giving me those puppy dog eyes. You know l can't resist it. "Emma had no choice but to give up because she was defenceless against his handsome face. "Fine, it is partially my fault, so as long as you make it up to me in a special way and we owe each other three favours and you promise never to live me alone like that again without informing me I will forgive you ."
"You are such a darling Emma, I promise you I will never give you a reason to worry like that ever again even though I am pleased you were worried about me."Drake said quietly in his head.
