Tsuka sat in the car with his parents, his arms crossed as he glared out the window. All was silent, except for the quiet radio music that broke the silence. Every now and then, static would cut through, with the faint sound of a male voice speaking inaudibly in a broadcast-like tone, with the faint sound of what sounded like... screaming? Wait, that's probably just static frequencies, Tsuka had assumed to himself. He's just crazy. That's what his parents would always tell him, anyway.
See, Tsuka wasn't always... a guy.
Tsuka is trans. A bisexual one at that. He is twenty-seven years old, and has goldish-blond hair that went just an inch below his ears, and he had stunning, piercing silvery-green eyes. He was also a therian, and has been since he was barely sixteen, but... his parents don't know of that.He had found out at a young age that he was trans, and even before then he was trans without even knowing what the term meant. He would wear male clothes in school (when he was still a girl), and people would make fun of him and ask him why he was wearing those clothes, and he would respond with, "Because I don't feel like I'm a girl, even though I was born one..."
When he had found out he was trans, he was eight. That was when he started studying into the LGBTQIA+ community, learning about their identities, sexualities, preferences, the lot. He was told since a young age that people who aren't "normal", are "sinners". Tsuka, being the young child he was, didn't understand what they meant and didn't have the right words to ask what normal even was. But his parents just told him, "You'll understand when you're older."So, when Tsuka found out he was transgender, he had remembered his parents' exact words. So that was when he started research over the LGBTQIA+ community.
Lesbians, gays, the difference between them, pansexuality, queers, non-binaries, everything he could find.
Then, he came across one term...
Bisexuality.Tsuka has been really smart since a young age, so he knew that "bi" meant "two', and sexuality, was an opinion to sexual attraction to different genders and people. He quickly put two and two together and realised that bisexuality meant an attraction to both genders.
He then realised, all those crushes he had in school, were both girls and guys.
This was when he discovered he was bisexual.
After years of building up his self-confidence, thinking of how he could tell this to his parents (who were extremely religious), he finally came out to his parents, telling them that he was bisexual, and transgender.
He had a whole thirty minute essay typed out to read out to them, as he was extremely nervous. However, a couple minutes into the essay, not long after he made it clear that he was trans and bi, his parents had cut him off, and started to yell at him, saying horrible things to him that he would not forget, even beyond death.
"You've cursed your bloodline!"
"You're committing a sin!"
It would be the least to say Tsuka was shattered.
Before he turned sixteen, he discovered another growing community called the therians. Curious, he would watch their online videos, seeing them performing a sport called "quadrobics", or "quads" for short, where they would run around on their hands and feet in a specific way. Tsuka didn't find this weird at all, strangely. When he looked further into them, he learned that therians are people who have specific and mostly spiritual connection to one or more animals. Tsuka then realised that he has always loved animals since a young age... specifically, wolves.
