After about 20 minutes, Serena and Adam were called into the higher-ups' office. They filled in the details of the piranha case and were informed that it was crucial to resolve the situation quickly to restore public peace. They agreed to do their utmost to close the case as soon as possible.

As they exited the office, Adam sighed, "I'm exhausted."

Serena glanced at her watch. "It's still early hours of the morning," she said. Their conversation was interrupted by a phone call. Serena answered and looked at Adam, "It's Dr. Henry. He wants us to meet him ASAP."

They headed to the observatory. Inside, the dimly lit lab was heavy with anticipation. Dr. Henry Carter emerged, looking worn but determined. "Here's what we've got," he said, holding a stack of reports and data sheets. "The piranha we captured is indeed a product of the Chimera Genesis experiment. These piranhas are not only more aggressive but have a remarkable capacity for rapid adaptation. They've evolved to be more dangerous than initially anticipated."

Serena's brow furrowed. "So, what's the next step?"

Henry took a deep breath. "We need to contain the outbreak immediately. The piranhas are spreading beyond Marina Bay, and their aggressive nature poses a serious threat. We need a comprehensive plan to address this."

Adam's eyes were steely with determination. "We're ready. What do you need us to do?"

Dr. Henry shook his head. "We're dealing with dread piranhas, not ordinary ones. Their behavior and aggression are unpredictable. It's highly risky because it could lead to more casualties. First, we need to reduce their numbers and then use rotenone and electrofishing to eliminate the remaining ones. But be aware, this is extremely dangerous."

Serena thought for a moment. "I have an idea on how to decrease their numbers, but we'll need additional help."

At that moment, a voice called out, "You summoned me?" Serena and Adam turned to see Uncle Samuel standing in the doorway.

Samuel explained he had been looking for them and was ready to assist. Serena and Adam welcomed his help.

At Marina Bay, the situation had become critical with frequent piranha attacks. Serena, Adam, Samuel, and their team prepared for a decisive operation.

"Here's the plan," Serena briefed the team at the docks. "We'll use bait and barriers to trap the piranhas. Our goal is to reduce their numbers and prevent further attacks."

Adam inspected the equipment with a serious expression. "Precision is key. One mistake could be disastrous."

Samuel, with his men and equipment, was ready. "Piranhas are relentless. They'll be drawn to the bait, but we must be prepared for their aggression."

As night fell, the team set their plan into action. Bait was strategically placed, and barriers were set up to corral the piranhas. The operation was intense as the water churned with the frenzy of piranhas attacking the bait.

"Stay focused!" Adam shouted over the roar of the engines. "We need to secure these piranhas before they spread further!"

Despite the chaos, the team's coordination paid off. Piranhas were trapped in containment tanks. Samuel's expertise was crucial in the final stages.

"We've got them contained!" Samuel announced, relieved but vigilant. "Great job, everyone."

Back at the safe house, the team gathered to debrief. The room was filled with exhaustion and relief.

"We managed to contain the piranhas and prevent further attacks," Serena said, pride evident in her voice. "Now we need to ensure this never happens again."

Adam added, "This has been one hell of a case. I'm grateful for the teamwork and support."

Samuel, who had come to offer his thanks, stood by with a respectful nod. "I'm impressed with how you all handled this. My experience with piranhas was limited, but you've proven your mettle."

Adam shook Samuel's hand firmly. "We couldn't have done it without you. Thanks for your help." With approval from the FBI and government bodies, rotenone and electrofishing were carried out to deal with the remaining piranhas.

Weeks later, Marina Bay had returned to normalcy. New safety measures were in place, and the piranha threat had been neutralized. Serena and Adam had resumed their routines, but the impact of the case lingered.

Adam enjoyed a rare moment of relaxation at home when his phone buzzed with a new case assignment. "Where's my four-week vacation?!" he exclaimed, then, with a heavy heart, headed back to the FBI headquarters.

Upon arrival, he was told to wait. Serena was already there, and when she saw him, she remarked, "Did your four-week vacation end that fast?"

Adam sighed, "I guess they never intended to give me a vacation in the first place."

She laughed, "It's been good working with you."

He agreed, "Same here."

As they shook hands, Serena said, "I'm looking forward to working with you again."

Adam responded with a smirk, "Not in a million years."

Just then, he was called into the cabin. The higher-ups informed him it was a group mission, and the details were already sent to his partner. They needed to leave for the new mission by evening. Adam agreed and exited the office.

Later that evening, Adam waited for his partner with his bags packed. Suddenly, a high beam light of a car flashed in his face. "Hey, watch it!" he shouted. The light dimmed, and a familiar voice said, "I guess a million years ended too quickly."

Adam chuckled, "Hah, guess so." He climbed into the car and saw Serena behind the wheel. He shook his head and said, "Figures."

As the car sped away, they headed for their next mission.

The next day, the research organization held a felicitation ceremony for the Researcher of the Year award. Dr. Henry Carter was honored for his achievements, and he dedicated the award to his late brother, Dr. Felix Carter. The audience applauded, and Henry held the award up to the skies.

Both Adam and Serena congratulated Dr. Henry via messages, acknowledging his contributions and dedication.
