Adrian's POV
It's the final few minutes of class, which means I'll have this whole weekend to relax.
The whole class period mostly consisted of others talking about Evie's big party tomorrow, yeah, that was the only thing my classmates had been talking about, not even anything about this class.
See I'm really not particularly interested in going to this party, why you may ask, well let me explain, I hate big crowds, I feel like people will judge me immediately for even being there, so yeah, the whole idea of it freaks me out.
Besides there is no point in me going, I don't drink, smoke, or anything like that. I mean I can't say I have done any of those things but hey, I'm a teenager. What else can you expect from me?.
Finally the dismissal bell rang so I could get out of here and get to my soft cozy bed.
Walking down the hallway I see AJ waiting for me where she usually does so I can take her home.
"Hey, how we're your last few classes" she asked, as she interlocked her arm with mine
"They were okay, nothing special. I mean other than everybody talking about Evie's party, they were okay."
"Yeah mine too, are you sure you don't want to go?, I mean everybody is going." she asked
"Yeah, I'm sure" I said to her as I looked at her right in the eyes before she broke away
"Well whether you go or not, I'm going. Evie's Parties aren't ones you'd want to miss, especially this one, this one is the one to start off the school year with a bang" she exclaimed eagerly
"The attendance at these parties are basically the same as homecoming, and prom. Her parties can sometimes make or break you if you know what I mean" she said as she hip bumped me
"Well I'm pretty sure if I don't attend the world won't stop spinning" I remarked sarcastically
"Well that is true but, you'd miss out on a good time"
"A good time to me is being at home sleeping"
"Okay, grandma" She laughed at me
"If being a grandma means being well rested, then a grandma I shall be" I laughed along.
We made it to the school entrance where most of the students like to congregate and chat with their friends. Among one of these students was Marco, talking with his friends that I know little about, other than Emiliano, his soccer co-cap.
I still haven't told Phebs or AJ about what happened on Tuesday, where we got a little more close, if you know what I mean.
I mean I didn't feel the need to tell them immediately since it wasn't really anything special, and as well that I didn't want to blow anything out of proportion, because yes, I do know I can misinterpret things the wrong way, and exaggerate them a lot but, honestly, don't we all do the same?.
As me and AJ pass by Marco's little group, he waves to me goodbye. These are some of the things someone can almost never misinterpret, it's just a simple wave goodbye, nothing about it, to me at least.
"Wow, what was that?" AJ remarked as we passed the threshold of the school entrance
"What was what?" I retorted
"That little wave that he gave you!"
"Oh, that?, what of it"
"What do you mean 'what of it'" she said repeating what I said
"It was a just a wave, no need to make a big fuss out of it AJ"
"Oh? So you guys wave now?" she said looking at me
