"Your quiet today" Miguel said trying to start a conversation
"Yeah sorry I just have a lot of my mind." Lacy responded
"Oh yeah? Do you wanna talk about it?"
"No it's fine. I don't think you would wanna listen anyways"
"You'd be surprised"
"Okay fine, um me and my friend Cassie, we got into an argument last night and"
"Wait Cassie? I heard she's quite of a bitch?"
"Yeah, but you know I don't think she's an actual bitch you know? She just acts like one because she's too scared to let people see who she really is"
"Wow. I never thought of it like that"
"Yeah. Neither did I until yesterday she basically poured her heart out to me and I just stood their stupidly not even comforting her"
"Well maybe you were just taking everything in"
"Yeah. But I should've at least said something you know?"
"She'll come around and talk to you. I know it."
Miguel said reassuring Lacy
"Alright students. I want you guys to finish this project with your partner for homework. I expect everyone's work to be handed in."
Miguel turned to Lacy
"So whose house should we finish the project at?"
"I would suggest mine but I think my moms having people over from her book club so"
"Okay, we can do it at my house then" Miguel suggested
"Sounds good, I'll meet you after school" Lacy smiled grabbing her books
Miguel Waited outside of Lacys class.
"Hey!" Miguel said as he saw Lacy coming out
"Hey! How did you know what class I had?"
"I asked Abby." Miguel smiled
Lacy laughed as she walked with Miguel
"I was thinking we could take my car"
"Yeah, thats better than taking the bus"

"Mom, yiayia I'm home" Miguel yelled out As he opened the door
"Hey miggy, how was school today" Miguel's mum came out from her room
"It was good. Um mom, yiayia meet Lacy we're working on a project together"
"Nice to meet you Ms Diaz" Lacy smiled shaking Miguel's mums hand
"Nice to meet you too and please call me Carmen" Carmen smiled at Lacy
Then Miguel's grandma went over to hug Lacy and started speaking in Spanish.
Lacy smiled at Miguel's grandma she really needed that hug.
"What did she say?" Lacy turned to Miguel
"she said your very beautiful" Miguel smiled
Lacy smiled. Miguel's mom and grandma were very sweet towards Lacy. They would bring snacks while Lacy and Miguel were working on their project and Lacy was also enjoying working with Miguel.
An alarm sound came from Miguel's phone
"Oh shit. I completely forgot that I have karate practice today." Miguel said getting up
