2:45pm, Friday
As per usual, Keiichi was laying on a wooden bench in the gymnasium while waiting for the basketball team to show up. She did this every time, either asleep or with her eyes close and her glasses in one hand resting on her stomach. Her school bag was lazily thrown to the corner and her uniform was tossled from her unbuttoning and pulling out. Same old, same old.
"Oi, Keiichi. Sit up, I want to sit down too you know." Riko's voice reached the brunette's ears and she opened one ocean blue eye.
"Fine, but don't be so snappy about it next time. I would have sat up even if you asked nicely." Keiichi muttered, sitting up and scratching her head. Riko huffed and sat down, her clipboard in hand and some of the boy walking into the changing room.
"Why do you keep coming here? Its not like you play or anything, all you do is sit here and watch." Riko asked, writing something down on her papers which were attached to her clipboard.
"I told you before, because I have nothing else better to do." Keiichi responded, then slowly falling asleep while sitting up. Unfortunately for Riko, it scared the soul straight from her body when Keiichi fell back onto the floor. Even that didn't wake up the lazy girl, and Riko was slightly impressed by this.
4:12pm, Friday
As Keiichi finally woke back up, her eyes darted around before remembering she didn't have her glasses on and couldn't even see the ground. After searching a bit, Keiichi found her black frames on the floor and quickly wiped them off before sliding them back onto her face. The boys were practicing, and what it looked like was complete failure. Although, it was suppose to look like that. Riko was having the boys work on their weaknesses to make them stronger. Eventually, Keiichi couldn't hold it in anymore and burst out laughing.
"What's so funny, Keiichi?" Riko asked, hands on her hips.
"Ah, sorry. Its just hilarious. I haven't seen such bad work since I was a kid." Keiichi said, standing up and stretching out her back.
"I don't see you doing any physical labor, let alone pick up a ball!" Kagami yelled at Keiichi from where he was, and if there was one person who irked her the most it was him.
"Oh really, how do you know? I could be an amazing player for all you know." Keiichi shot back sitting back down and letting out a yawn.
Kagami had enough of her lazy behavior, all she ever did was criticize their playing and made rude comments. Before anyone could stop him, Kagami picked up a ball and threw it at Keiichi's head. Little did they know, Keiichi had suspected that. Her hand shot up just before the ball touched her face and caught it, a loud smacking sound echoing through the gymnasium from the ball colliding into her hand. Her eyes flashed open, a dangerous look, almost animal like, in her eyes as she dropped the ball.
"Don't test my patience, or else you'll find yourself stuck in a hoop with your face broken in."
5:00pm, Friday
Keiichi was left alone after the incident, everyone continuing on with their practice until 5pm when Riko sent them to shower. This left only the two females in the room, although Keiichi was asleep...well, trying to.
"I know you're not asleep, now you have to talk to me." Riko said, sitting down after moving Keiichi's feet.
"Ok, I've been caught." She admitted, opening her eyes and looking over at the young coach. "Did you want to talk or something?"
"Actually, yes I did. I think you know what I'm going to ask." Riko told her, turning in her seat and looking down at Keiichi with a serious expression. "I know you have played basketball before, its pretty obvious. I want you to join the team."
Keiichi's eyes rolled, the powerful female sat up and looked Riko straight in the eye. "No."
"Why not? Just like you've said, you have "nothing better to do"." Riko insisted, and Keiichi stood up, walking over to her bag and picking it up. While walking, Keiichi sighed before she stopped in front of the door.
"Because."
