Sadias wedding was happening at 6:45 pm and Amira was at Kayla's house to get ready for her shaadi (Wedding name in Hindi, and Urdu). Amira teasingly grabbed the flower plate for the wedding to throw over the bride once she walked down the aisle. She walked around side to side saying, "Here comes the bride down the aisle! Ms. Sadia!" Kayla replied chuckling, "She didn't even get married yet Amira! Let it chill, let's see if she even says yes, don't jinx it haha!" Amira continued to aimingly go towards the front door while looking back at Kayla saying, "Of course she's going to get married-" Then Kayla cut her off warningly saying, "WATCH OU-" But it was too late. A young man bumped into Amira at the door. Amira met his deep soft dark brown eyes and he met Amira's deep green hazel eyes. Amira looked away and paid attention to the flowers which fell and began hurryingly picking them up, apologizing. The young man didn't take his eyes off Amira's eyes. He snapped out of it and helped Amira place the flowers onto the beautiful flower gold plated plate and quickly said, "No, no that was my bad, I should've knocked first." Amira replied, "Why would it be your fault? I wasn't the one looking." At that moment, the young man started to fall in love. They both gathered all the flowers on the plate. Amira then asked, "Who are you anyway? You're dressed as if you're going to the wedding we're going to as well." The young man answered, "My name's Zain, Sadias cousin. She asked me to pick up her friends." Zain stared into Amira's deep hazel eyes again. Amira cheerfully said, "My name's Amira, this is my friend Kayla and her mother. We were just about ready, I just needed to go get my purse." Kayla then said, "You go get your purse, me and mama will sit in the car." Amira saw it in her friend's eyes; she fell in love with Zain and let her go to the car to give her a chance. Zain led Kayla and her mother to the car. Kayla aimed for the front seat but Zain, in love with Amira, quickly said, "Sorry, but I don't really like it when somebody sits in the front." Kayla replied, "Oh, I'll just sit in the back then, haha!" Amira hurringly came outside and saw no space in the back and opened the front seat door. Kayla dashing said, "Zain doesn't like it when somebody sits in the front!" Amira said, "Oh I'm sorry I'll sit in the back-" Zain cut her off saying, "No, no, there's no room in the back, it'll be fine if you stay in the front for this case." Amira hesitated, but it was getting late so she did it anyway." They arrived at the banquet hall where Sadia's wedding was being hosted. Kayla and her mother exited the car first then Zain. Zain dashed to the front passenger door and quickly opened it for Amira and handed her his hand. Amira, shocked, took his gesture in a nice way and accepted it. Kayla tried to hide her jealousy. They entered the banquet and went to the small room where the nikah (Marriage proposal paper signing name in Islam) was held. Zain at that time split into the men's section while Kayla and Amira went into Sadia's section. Amira and Kayla couldn't believe their eyes when they saw Sadia dressed in her wedding outfit. Deep red with gold lining and details. 8 foot red and gold veil matching the dress. And most importantly, Sadia was looking gorgeous. It was also just in time, it was time for the nikah. A marriage scholar asked the bride, "Do you agree that you want to marry Amir Shohaib and stay with him in sickness and in health?" He asked that question 3 times and Sadia said yes to all of them. It was the groom's turn and he asked, "Do you agree to marry Sadia Naeema in sickness and in health?" Amir also said yes to all 3 times the scholar asked. Then the scholar asked them, "Does anyone object to this wedding and why?" Nobody answered. It was settled then, Sadia and Amir were officially married. Amir lifted Sadia's veil and they hugged each other smiling happily at each other. Then Amir's father gave him a small jewelry box and Amir opened it and took out a gorgeous gold ring with a diamond in the middle. He slid it into Sadia's ring finger and Sadia did the same with the ring she had. Amira could truly tell Sadia was happy because she had been talking about how she wanted to marry Amir for so long. The rest of the guests were seated in the banquet and Amira took her flower plate with flowers on it and so did Kayla. They got ready down the aisle to throw flowers at Amir and Sadia as they reached the middle of the aisle. Sadia and Amir walked down shortly after and everyone was cheering. Zain cheered too, but his eyes were on Amira and her gorgeous smile looking happily at Sadia. It was time for music and dancing on the stage after Sadia and Amir found their seating arrangements. Amira dashed down the aisle in her beautiful turquoise Lehenga (Fancy Indian dress) to the stage so she could help with arrangements. Kayla, jealous, saw Zain's eyes on her. Amira's boy best friend, Husain, then stopped Amira saying, "You really didn't even dare to say hi to me?" Zain frowned when he saw Husain next to Amira. Amira answered, "I have so much in my mind, sorry. Anyways, what time did you get here?" Husain replied, "Oh like around 6-" Then Zain came over and cut him off saying, "When is the dance going to begin? The guests are waiting." Amira answered, "Like 10 minutes from now, I can tell the aunties are bored and are just gossiping right now." Husain laughed with Amira while Zain joined in too." Kayla came up to them in her soft pink lehenga. Kayla asked, "What's so funny around here?" Amira answered, "Oh nothing it's just a little joke I made-" Kayla ignored Amira's response and stated, "I wasn't talking to you Amira, I was talking to Zain." Amira then asked, "Why are you asking Zain when it was I who made the jo-" Kayla cut Amira off again and whispered to her, "Come with me." Then she took Amira's hand and led her to an empty place at the banquet. Kayla then said, "Amira you don't know how much I like Zain. I'm crushing on him, so why can't you get the signals? It's like you're stealing him from me! Stay away from him so he has eyes for me and me only." Amira responded, "I'm so sorry Kayla I didn't know that. I don't even like Zain, and I doubt he likes me. He's just being friendly, but I'll stay away from him just in case. Is that fine?" Kayla, relieved, said, "Thank you Amira, you don't know how much that means to me." The two girls then went to the stage and got ready to dance. The music began, and Amira and Kayla as well as some of Sadie's cousins started dancing on the stage with the choreography they learned a month before. Husain and Zain, both in love with Amira, watched her gracefully dancing. Suddenly Amira tripped on Kayla's lehenga. She thought she was going to fall, but suddenly Zain ran and grabbed her hand. Kayla was in shock and in betrayal. Zain looked into Amira's beautiful and bright hazel doe eyes. He felt as if he fell in love with Amira all over again. Zain pulled Amira back up and helped her fix her lehenga. Amira was in shock as well but managed to stutter, "T-thank you-" Then she saw Kayla dash out the banquet. Amira then ran after her. Kayla didn't stop. She ran and ran till she got to the quiet meadow a few feet away from the banquet. Kayla began sobbing. Amira caught up and began saying, "Kayla, I'm sorry! I didn't mean to! I never knew he was going to catch me-" Kayla yelled, "NO YOU DIDN'T!", she wiped her tears and sniffled, "You knew I liked him! And you do this to me?! Your own best friend?! HOW COULD YOU!" Amira began to stutter, "No I can explain I promise! You know me! Please believe me and listen!" Kayla bursted out, "NO! I've seen and heard enough! Just when I thought we would forever be friends, we aren't. We're done Amira! Go after Zain now and marry him since you've fallen in love with him!" Amira gasped and pleaded, "Kayla please no! I love you as a sister! I would never do that to you! Please believe me it was an acciden-" Kayla walked up and threw her necklace Amira gave to her. She took off her broken bangles as well and threw them at Amira. One of them cut Amira on her right cheek. Kayla didn't care at all anymore, Amira was dead to her. Kayla then started walking away leaving. Amira stood there watching her leave. She knew it won't be worth anything to stop her, if Kayla wanted to believe that she betrayed her, then she can. She was angry at Kayla for not believing her. Then she was about half way walking back to the banquet and she was met by Husain. Husain, relieved, asked, "Oh my gosh! There you are! I was looking for you everywhere! Where were you?" Amira walked past him in sadness into the banquet. Kayla's mother, Rosa, came up to her and asked in an accent, "Where is Kayla mija? She went somewhere without telling me!" Amira responded, "I don't know. I'm sorry." Husain saw Amira off and went the direction Amira came from to find clues. Zain saw her walk into the empty nikah room alone with a tear in her eye. Amira went into the corner and sobbed. She lost a childhood friendship. Zain stood by the dark nikah entrance and looked at how the Amiras gorgeous hazel eyes were shedding tears. Amira's back was turned against Zain. He then went up to her and softly comforted her in his arms. Amira didn't stop crying. She eventually calmed down. Then Amira asked, "Zain why are you here?" Zain replied, "Look ever since I laid eyes with you, I've fallen in love with you. I feel like I've known you my entire life." Amira plotting revenge against Kayla came up with a new idea. Amira then said, "Then let's get the nikah papers signed." Zain exclaimed, "Amira are you out of your mind?! My parents don't even know about you, and your parents don't know about me. What makes you even want to marry me?" Amira said, "It doesn't matter. And I like you. Just please Zain, please." She hid the fact she wanted to marry Zain for revenge on Kayla. Zain sooner or later agreed. They brought the nikah scholar over with a copy of nikah papers, and they signed it and got married in the empty room. It was official. Zain and Amira were officially married under the law. By then Husain came back with the broken bangles, the same colored ones Kayla wore. He walked in on Amira and Zain sitting in the nikah room with the scholar. He then asked, "What's going on?" Zain looked at Amira worryingly. Amira then said, "Zain and I are getting married." Husain then dropped the bangles. He then said, "Amira how could you! Getting married at Sadia's wedding! And how could you not even tell your parents?! You don't even know Zain!" Amira blurted out, "If you have anyone to blame it should be Kayla!" The whole banquet guests gathered to hear what was going on. Eventually Sadia walked over with Amir. Sadia asked them,"What's going on?! Why are there broken bangles on the floor?! Did someone get hurt?" Husain mumbled, "I did..." Zain decided to say, "It's nothing Sadia... but can Amira and I speak to you and Amir privately?" Sadia then ordered all the guests out of the room. Husain decided to stay. Amir then stated, "Now what is it? You're causing drama to happen." Zain took a deep breath and said, "Amira and I got the nikah and got married right now." Sadia's eyes widened. Amir then yelled, "You decided to get married at our wedding?! This is insane Zain! This is your own cousin-" Sadia stopped him and asked, "But why? Why at our wedding Amira, you could've done it outside of our wedding. But why did you marry Zain, you haven't met him until today." Amira then softly said, "Because I knew he was the one written next to my name. Ever since we made eye contact, my stomach has just gotten butterflies. He comforted me when Kayla ran off and left me sobbing. So why wouldn't I?" "So you married at MY WEDDING and your own parents and nobody else knows?! I can't believe you Amira! We're done being friends, get out!", Sadia yelled. Amira tried to stutter something but Zain walked out pulling Amiras hand. Amira asked him, "Zain! Where are we going! Stop!" Zain didn't say anything. He brought Amira all the way outside to his car and opened the passenger door. Then he said, "Get in we're leaving." Amira then argued, "No Zain, I want to stay." Suddenly he took Amira's hand and led her into the car. For some reason Amira got butterflies from his gentle gesture. Zain then said, "Since you're now my wife, you'll be staying with me until we get everything sorted." Amira kept staring at his soft brown eyes as he smiled at her. Then he got into the drivers seat and started the car, he reached for Amira's hand and then smiled at her as he backed up the car. Amira's deep hazel eyes was on Zain the entire time falling in love. At this point during the car drive, Amira didn't know if she really married Zain for revenge or love. Zain then said, "It's going to be a long drive, I live at least 3 hours away from here. You should probably rest." "I don't get tried easily, I'll be fine.", Amira replied. About an hour passed and Zain felt something lean against his shoulder. He saw Amira's innocent face resting in his shoulder asleep. He smiled softly. Two hours passed by and they reached Zains home. Amira was still asleep. He gently lifted her and carried her inside and put her down softly on the bed mattress. He then put the blanket over her and lovingly looked at her. He whispered to himself, "How lucky am I to have my love at first sight to be my wife?" He then turned off the lights and let Amira be asleep. It was soon morning. Amira was still in her Lehenga and she looked around her unrecognized surroundings. She saw Zain sleeping across the couch in the room to not make Amira uncomfortable. Amira innocently smiled looking at Zain's gesture of respect towards her. She then saw a fresh pair a clothes set for her on the bench seat in the big master bedroom. She immediately showered and change into them and then quietly went out of the room to explore the big mansion. She awed as she saw the rooms of the giant mansion. But she fell in love with the big garden in the back. She walked along the tall grass and flowers barefoot. She danced as a child in the garden. By that time Zain was awake, and watched her throughout the window. He then decided to go down and greet her good morning. Amira kept spinning around in happiness then she saw him standing by the garden door. She stopped in embarrassment. Zain came up to her smiling and said, "I see you love the garden, it's my favorite place too." He then looked at her and made eye contact and said, "You're the best wife anyone could ask for Amira. You're gorgeous, caring, and everything I could ask for." Amira blushed looking at his eyes and him at hers. Amira fell in love even more than she had to begin with, she felt like she made the right decision. It was evening and a maid brought tea to them both in the garden. Zain then questioned, "Amira, since we're both now married, when are we actually considering the wedding? It's fine if you don't want one either as well." Amira replied, "I want a wedding, I really do Zain. But I'm scared..." Zain put his hand on Amira's and asked, "Why Amira? What is it?" Amira then said, "Kayla and Husain, and Sadia too. I want to invite them but, it just won't feel like my wedding without either of them. However even if I invite them, what if they ruin it." Zain assured Amira, "I won't let that happen, I can assure you that." Amira smiled at Zain. She then thought to herself. If Kayla had never accused Amira of not being a true friend, then she would've never wanted to marry Zain. She knew it was all Gods plan. A few weeks passed by and it was the day of Amira and Zains wedding celebration day (shaadi). She invited Sadia, Husain, and Kayla hoping they would show up. Amira wore a dark green dress aligned with gold and amethyst colored jewels. As she put on Jewelry and sets of gold, the door of her room knocked. Zains relatives were also in the room and one of them answered the door. It was Sadia. Sadia asked, "May I come in?" Zains relatives looked at Amira and she just nodded giving a yes. Sadia quietly sat down on the couch in the corner of the room. Then Zains mother asked, "Who will help Amira to come out?" Sadia answered, "I will aunty." Amira smiled at Sadia and she smiled back. The wedding took place next to an outdoor garden next to a mall. It was time for the guests to be seated and all of Zains relatives stepped out of the brides room except Sadia. Sadia came up to her and said, "I'm sorry for acting that way at my wedding. It was wrong of me and it wasn't a big deal if you got the nikah from the scholar at my wedding." Amira smiled and said, "If I weren't then this wedding wouldn't be happening today. And I'd like to thank you for understanding now. Is Kayla here?" Sadia sighed and said, "I don't think so, I came with Amir." Amira then asked, "How's your marriage with Amir so far?" Sadia replied, "It's going great." The two girls smiled at each other and hugged. Sadia then said, "I always knew this day would come for the both of us. If only Kayla was still with us." Amira agreed then said, "Well I should probably get out there now." Sadia nodded in agreement and helped Amira pick up her 6 foot Green and gold veil with her heavy Lehenga. The ladies all threw flowers at Amira. She saw Zain waiting down the aisle. Amira hadn't smiled that much for so long. Once she reached the end of the aisle Zain helped her sit down on the luxurious couch. After that food began to be served. The music then suddenly stopped. Suddenly someone began to say, "SHE DOESNT DESERVE TO MARRY ZAIN! SHE STILL HAS HER SAME CHILDISHLY BEHAVIOR AND SHE STOLE ZAIN FROM ME!" Amira turned around to see Kayla saying it. Suddenly Amira felt the need to run. Amira ran to the mall and into the empty elevator and kept clicking the close button. She felt like she wanted to cry at that moment and didn't want anyone to see. She reached the 6th floor of the mall which is also the roof. She sat down behind the elevator wall with her head down with her knees. Small tears came out of her eyes angry about Kayla ruining her wedding. She could see everyone looking for her at the wedding from the roof. She heard Kayla yell, "THIS IS WHY SHES SO PROBLEMATIC." Amira thought to herself, "Am I really problematic? Do I create drama for wanting time to myself to think?!" She heard the elevator ding. She thought they found her. They did. It was Husain, Amira's childhood friend. He called out her name and she stood silent. He looked around the roof and he found her. Husain, relieved, said, "There you are! Amira what happened why are you up here?" Amira wiped her tears and said, "What are you doing here? I thought you wouldn't have come." Husain sighed, "Amira why wouldn't I be, you're my best friend. Now why are you up here." Amira answered, "I need time to myself and I'm sorry, alright?" Husain responded, "Look Zains been worried sick, and so has Sadia and the others. You could've just ran to the brides room instead." "I know, but I couldn't think at that time, I really couldn't." Husain then questioned, "Now that I'm here I need to ask you something, why did you decide to marry Zain?" Amira said, "Because I wanted to." Husain, annoyed, said, "That's not an answer Amira. But you really disappointed me there Amira." Amira looked at him questioningly. "Because I was going to ask for your hand in marriage soon.", Husain answered. Amira looked up at him shocked. Husain then said, "Now I obviously can't. But come back down to your wedding, if  you don't want to them for the sake of Zain. He's worried about you." Amira still looked at him in shock. She then stated, "Look Husain, I will when I want to. And how could you even like me?! You know I'm getting married and still decided to show up and tell me you like me." Husain replied, "Because I'm still your friend and-" Amira cut him off and yelled, "Leave now! Your not my friend if you can't understand that I like someone else which is Zain and that my marriage is with him! It would've been better if you said nothing at all! Leave!" Husain replied, "I can't Amira! I've been crazy about you ever since 2 years ago! And you're befriending me today, especially when I told you my feelings. Gosh Amira. I'm not stopping you from getting married but instead I think it's best our friendship ends right here." Husain left and went down the elevator. 5 minutes passed and she still saw Zain frantically looking for her downstairs. She got up and went down. She quietly walked to Zain and looked at him embarrassed. Zain's eyes lit up when her saw Amira's face and hugged her. All the guests gathered around and started asking where she was. Amira asked, "Where's Kayla?" Sadia answered, "She went away after she didn't get the attention she wanted." Zain looked at her stained mascara marks underneath her eye bags. He wiped her tears. Sadia said, "I'll get her fixed up for you, don't worry." A few minutes passed by and Amira walked down the aisle again. This time with utter true happiness. Once she reached the end of the aisle the two held hands and forever knew, they were meant to be.
