I opened my eyes slowly, squinting into the light. My blurry vision eventually returning back to normal. I just couldn't figure out what was happening. One minute I'm cheering on Kamala at her rally in Georgia, the next I'm on the ground lying on my back, feeling pretty dazed.

"Heeyyy, honey, it's ok.. just breathe." Kamala said to me as she wiped hair from my face. My eyes still adjusting, I could barely believe it. Kamala Harris, Madam Vice President herself was currently kneeling above me, running her fingers down my cheek in an effort to calm me.

"Wh..what happened?" I muttered, still deep in the brain fog.

"You fainted, baby." she cooed. A flush of embarrassment crept up into my cheeks, I hoped desperately she wouldn't notice.

"Guys, I need some water over here." she said to the surrounding Secret Service Agents.

"Here, baby, take a drink." she said as she tipped the water bottle toward my lips, gently holding my head up. I took a small sip and sighed. Yes, I was embarrassed but the most beautiful woman in the world was mere inches from me, giving me water.

"Thank you," I said wiping a drop of water from my lips, "I feel so stupid." I sighed.

"Don't feel stupid, dear. It's like 95 degrees out here." Kamala said through one of her award winning smiles, "Here, let's get you up." Her arms held me, providing balance so I could stand. I stood up slowly, wiping the creases of my pant suit.

"You feel ok?" she asked lightly.

"Yes, I think I'm ok." I smiled back at her.

Around us the crowd roared and people were chanting, "KAMALA, KAMALA, KAMALA!" The applause was energetic and loud.

"I'm certainly glad I was already done with my speech when you fainted." She smiled brightly, "Would you like to go back stage with me for a bit? I'd like to keep an eye on you."

The crowd still roared, Kamala waved to the people and grabbed a nearby microphone.

"Thank you, Thank you, Georgia! God bless you and God bless the United States of America." and the crowd roared even louder.

She waved her good byes to the boisterous crowd, taking my hand and walking into the blue tent. The long blue tent led straight into her famous "Kamala/Walz" bus.

"Well, here we are!" she chimed, "Home, sweet home, while we're on the road." The bus was absolutely enormous. Upon entry, is a perfectly sized kitchenette with a small table with bench seats. The cupboards were full of her spices, the fridge full of food. Behind the kitchen sat a small hallway with a large bathroom off to the side. Even the bathroom had a full shower and bath tub. I was astonished. Thankfully, the bus was empty aside from us. I sat on the bench seat while Kamala grabbed two glasses from the cupboard, filling them with ice and water.

"Here you go, dear. You should keep hydrating." she said as she slid me the glass of ice water.

"Thank you for everything, Madam Vice President." I said as I sipped my water, smiling sheepishly at her.

"No thanks needed and please, call me Kamala." She flashed me her beautiful smile once again.

"Well, Kamala, I'm glad you were there to save me." I said smirking, "By the way, my name is Alexandria, but my friends call me Lexie."
