The PAW Patrol were in quite the situation. They were on Jake's mountain, and it was raining. Hard. A landslide had occurred, taking a big chunk of land off the mountain and blocking the road up. So Jake called the PAW Patrol to help clear it.

Everyone was hard at work. Rubble, Rocky, and Everest were using their Pupmobiles to clear some of the debris, while Jake and Ryder were shoveling. Jake was wearing an orange rain coat. Ryder, however, unfortunately had misplaced his, and was silently suffering greatly as a result. He didn't have time to look before he left either, so he had to just go.

Ryder was currently FREEZING. And although his vest did offer some help, his wet clothes still stuck to him, greatly hindering his movements. And it didn't help that the temperature was mild. But still, he pushed on. He had a job to do. The road needed to be cleared, and it was his own fault for misplacing his coat.

"Just a little while longer, and you can get warmed up. You can wait." Ryder thought to himself.

Ryder kept on digging. After what seemed like hours, the road was finally cleared.

"Phew! Thought we'd never get done!" said Jake, wiping his brow. "Too bad you forgot your coat Ryder dude. You and the pups can totally crash at my place for the night."

Ryder wanted to take up the offer, but he also just wanted to get home.

"No thanks Jake." said Ryder "We'll be alright. The lookout isn't too far."

Jake kinda felt like putting his foot down and telling Ryder to stay. He wasn't stupid. He knew Ryder was probably suffering. He himself was in a coat and was still feeling the effects of the rain. But he also knew it wasn't really his place. And if Ryder said he was alright, then he must be.

"Alright then, see you later dude." said Jake

Everyone said their goodbyes and headed for home.

The pups weren't really bothered by the rain. They liked it, plus their fur coats protected their skin from the water, and they could easily shake it off.

Ryder however was a human. He didn't have nearly as much fur, and he was covered in wet clothes. He wanted to take a hot shower SO badly.  Every inch of his body, from his head to his toes was wet and cold.

Finally they reached the lookout. Everyone parked and went inside. Although the pups didn't mind the rain, they certainly weren't going to sleep in it.

Ryder was shivering and holding his arms. His teeth were chattering, and he was whimpering.

The pups looked up at their leader concerned. Ryder walked into the kitchen, where Riley was picking up. When she saw Ryder, she was shocked and worried.

"Oh my gosh! Ryder, sweetie, why aren't you wearing your rain coat? You look like you're freezing!"

"I c-c-couldn't fond it m-mom. I'm s-sorry." said Ryder shakily

"That's alright. Come on. Let's get you all warmed up." said Riley

Riley took Ryder into her and Robin's bathroom in their room. She started the shower, making sure it was nice and hot and ready for Ryder to use. Once it was, she turned and faced him.

"Ok sweetie. You get out of those wet clothes and get in the shower. I'll put a fresh pair of pajamas in the dryer for you and make them nice and toasty warm, ok?"

"Ok m-mom." said Ryder

Riley left, and Ryder began undressing. First, he took off his shirt and vest, pulling them up and off in a rolling motion with his arms crossed. Then, he sat on the toilet and took his socks and shoes off. And finally, with the camera aimed at his feet, he slipped his jeans and red and blue trimmed underwear off, splatting the floor as they fell, just as all his clothes had. Then, with the camera aimed at his top half, he stepped into the shower. Ryder immediately felt the warm water hit his cold body. The feeling was almost heavenly.
