"What do they have in the snack bar?" I asked.
Derek looked over, shrugging off. "Do you want some? Are you hungry? I'll get it for you."
I nodded in confirmation. "Okay. I'll just wait here and probably wait if I would see Danny around."
"Right. I'll be back quickly," he said, planting a kiss on my cheek.
I stood behind one of the cocktail tables while I was looking around to see some familiar faces. I was surprised when Delta showed up, waving at me and find he way to where I was. Niyakap ako nito nang mahigpit.
"How are you?! Did you have fun? I hope you did because it's freezing out there wearing all those swimsuits."
"You did so great, Del! You are so good. I mean, pwede ka na maging Victoria's Angels. I think you could pull off the runway as well."
"Wow, Cory. I really appreciate that, but I think becoming an Angel would still be a dream for me and I have to work out a lot of things to get there, but thank you for thinking about me in that position. I will let you know soon once I get on that runway."
"I will wait!" I chuckled.
"Where's your boyfriend?"
"Oh, he went to the snack counter to get me some food."
"I see! You know what, Derek did a great job there. For a beginner like him, he would be able to take over the world runways as well. I think he really has this kind of charisma and appeal—sex appeal that no one can resist!"
I chuckled. "I can totally agree with that."
"Yeah, I can tell that." Ngisi pa nito."Where's Danny though? I miss that gay boy. I haven't seen him in a while."
"I couldn't find him, too, but he should be with Lukas."
"Oh, really? Are they friends or what?" Hindi naman ako nakasagot sa kanya. "Anyway, I've got my girlfriends here as well. They're in the bathroom so I have to check them now or they're probably finding a way to get themselves out of this place."
"No worries! Derek will be back in a moment naman."
"Alright! It's always lovely to see you, Cor," she said and turned around to see her friends.
Naghintay ako kay Derek, but he was taking too long to get back. Hini ako umalis sa pwesto ko dahil ayokong magkasalisi kaming dalawa. I saw some celebrities around. May balak sana akong magpa-picture, pero mas focus akosa pagbabalik ng boyfriend ko. I'm a little hungry so I couldn't think clearly. Drinking wines doesn't help that much.
