"Hey Lil, can you take me to the gas station?" Liv asked as she popped her head in my room. "I ran out of advil and we have none in the house?"
I flipped my hair over my shoulders as I let them down to air dry naturally.
"Yeah sure." I responded, pulling on a hoodie. "Let me just grab my keys and I'll be right down."
"You're the best." She smiled. "I'll be downstairs." I hummed a response as I finished getting dressed before grabbing my keys and making my way downstairs.
"Oh, the agony! The despair!" I heard a voice yell from the living room.
On the couch was Gabby. She had ice packs all over her legs as she held an arm to cover her eyes. Coach had ran us into the ground earlier today which is why Liv was getting advil.
And was also the reason why I took longer coming down the stairs. Our bodies were done for.
"There there." Emma hushes as she came from the kitchen, bringing another ice pack. She walked with a slight limp herself. "Emma's here."
"We'll be right back." I laughed. "Gonna get some pain meds."
"Make it quick please." Emma groaned.
"Double dosage!" Gabby called out as I shut the front door.
15 minutes later, Liv slammed the car door shut as she got back in. Empty handed.
"No luck?" I asked. She sighed and shook her head in anger.
"What kind of gas station doesn't have advil?" She grumbled. "I'm gonna ask Jer." I gave her the okay and soon we were off to the football house once he gave the confirmation.
"Hey ladies." Jeremiah greeted as we walked in. "Cmon Liv, the Advil's in the bathroom."
"Thank goodness." She grumbled, getting a kiss from her boyfriend on her cheek before he led her to the guest bathroom.
"Prince's in his room by the way." Jeremiah yelled down the hall as they left me.
"Thanks?" I said slowly. I sighed as I rocked back and forth before going upstairs. It wasn't that hard for me to guess which room was his as the door was slightly ajar and I could hear voices coming from it.
I slowly crept closer before opening the door quietly and taking in my surroundings.
He sat with his back to me as his right hand held a mouse. Whatever game he was playing on his computer seemed very interesting to him considering he was frozen with his eyes glued to the screen.
Across the room, an anime show was playing. His bed had dark green covers and multiple pillows on it. Above it, wooden shelving held the support of books. A lot of them. Along with action figures, trinkets, a football, awards, a camera and a picture frame.
"Whatcha playing?" I asked as I succesfully tiptoed across the room. My chin rested on top of his shoulder as he jumped in fright. "Did I scare you?" I laughed.
"Holy, Lilah what are you doing here?" Princeton said, his voice raising an octave with wide eyes as he looked around his room. He immediately paused his game before jumping for the remote and turning the TV off.
I sat in his gaming chair as he discreetly hid some items under his bed or in his dresser. He didn't think he had to hide anything from me right?
"What game is this?" I asked as I unpaused the screen.
"Oh that?" He cleared his throat from his high pitched response. "Oh it's stupid, you wouldn't like it."
"World of Warcraft," I read, looking at the screen. "So what is it?"
