I genuinely just had the best night of my life

okay so I need to start at the beginning, November 13th 2023.

me and my friends went ice skating for our 2 year anniversary as friends. and when we got there, got our skates, and put our stuff up, that's when I saw him for the first time.

he was like 5 feet away from me talking to one of his friends. and he had amazing hair, I remember that.

so. on the ice, he hung out with that big group of boys who are almost always there without fail. (YES INCLUDING LEMON)

so after going ice skating and seeing him there every saturday, we decided to call him beanie boy or tyler because he always wore a beanie and he looked like a tyler (spoiler, he isn't a tyler!)

anyways there was one point where I thought he got a buzz cut, and that day was the last time I saw him. keep in mind the last time I saw him was in JANUARY. 😭😭

so. last night we went ice skating for the first time in like weeks. cherry has sort of lost feelings for lemon, but she's figuring it out.

lemon was the first one we saw there, I think he got taller in the 3 months we haven't seen him.

and guess who was there as well!

as I was putting on my skates, cherry told me that beanie boy was here.

WHAT.

I whipped my head around SO FAST.

and it was. it was him. like what

it has been SEVEN MONTHS.

and wow guys.

so anyways while we're skating I just you know....stare at him the whole time.

and we actually met our friend bean from school there too. she was my moral support 😭😭

at one point, it was like 8:00, he got off. so me, orange, and bean got off too. he looked like he was like sick or in pain 😭 we stood at the back of the like lobby and he was all the way accross from us. orange and bean were trying to get me to go talk to him, and deep down I knew i would. just took me a good 15 minutes 😭😭

so at one point, bean got back on and orange gave me a good one last beg

so here was the plan. me and her would walk towards the doors to get on the ice, and she would get on and I would go up to him.

and that's what we did.

I talked to him when hot to go played (by chappell roan 😭)

the first thing I said to him was are you okay, and he said yeah but his like chest was hurting and stuff.

I told him that sucks, and I asked his name and told him mine. and we both found out we didn't have any way to like contact eachother but he told me he's there pretty much every saturday (not every saturday for the past 7 months 💀)
and I told him hopefully I'd see him then, and then I got up and said bye to him and got back on the ice to tell my friends about it.

before I get to when we left, a little update on lemon.

so if you remember, the opp a few months ago telling us that lemon is a big stuck up jerk we found out last night that she got lemons number. that's not all, after we left we got boba and we found out through this guy our friend was texting from the skating rink that lemon is actually super chill and stuff. so now we know for sure she was lying about all that, and now cherry needs to step up ASAP. AND. WE FOUND OUT THIS GUY I TALKED TO IS LEMONS YOUNGER BROTHER. WHAT. (he's like a few months younger than me). we like considered the fact but we always just brushed it off and forgot about it.

on our way home we blasted 90s-2000s pop and cherrys dad drove on like some backroads and he opened his sunroof and let us stand up in it. (he drove very slow its okay 😭)

it was so much fun.

I cried while girls just wanna have fun played, because I am just so so incredibly blessed for my friends, my life, and this just amazing night.
