After coming back from school. Ahana excitedly hugged her mother and asked about the journey. After an hour of talks with her siblings and mother she departed to her room to take a nap but sleep was nowhere in her eyes all she could do was to remember that very moment when Rudraksh's hand touched hers and she did not feel any kind of disgust which has left her confused, surprised or let it be even the words were lost deep in the darkness of alleys.

It's not that she couldn't hold anybody's hand. No, that wasn't the case. She could hold her mother's hand, her sibling's hand and even Akshita and Neha's but only if it wasn't out of the blue. A prior warning helped her to prepare herself to overcome that feeling of disgust which had been having since the previous year after that incident.

It was barely anything as compared to all the immoral acts such as verbal abuse or sexual assault that have been enforced on the females out there but she can't seem to get over it. Maybe because it was her first exposure to experience something like that by herself rather than just listening about it from others.

It was the time of Mahashivratri when she tagged along with her parents to visit the temple. Her siblings couldn't join as her sisters had an exam the next day while Saransh had a night stay with the boys at Vihaan's home.

She was very excited to see beautifully decorated temple of Mahadev. The decorations could be seen even from a mile before the temple. She was watching the decorated shops on either side of the road. It was quite crowded with numerous people coming back from the temple or going towards the temple with their family and loved ones, a wide smile plastered on their vibrant faces with their foreheads adorned with the enchanting tripund tilak.

After walking through the crowd for about 10 minutes they finally reached near the temple which yet again was surrounded by hundreds of devotees watching the beautiful union of Shiv-shakti via the play performed by a group of artists adorned in their gorgeous costume for the soleloque.

Ahana was walking beside her mother while her father was walking ahead. Just then a few step before the temple's stairs she felt someone's hand brushes past her's. No, it didn't just brush as if just an accidental touch. She felt as if someone tugged at her index finger.

She thought it was someone whom she might know such as some classmate so she looked behind to see who that person was. And the scene before her left an unwavering feeling of disgust and nausea making that constant smile on her face which she had on her lips since she had come there to be wiped off her face. She saw a guy may be 16-17, not more than 18. She doesn't remember his face now. He was walking along with friends laughing and then he looked at her for a split second with the creepiest smile she had ever seen as if he very well knew what he did and then went back to laughing with his friends and then they were gone.

A sudden shiver ran down her spin, frightening her. There was an immediate burst of piloerection making her tremble as if a bucket of ice cold water had been poured over her head. Perhaps it was only at that moment that she became precisely aware of the apparently chilly weather of mid-February.

Though truth be told, it wasn't exactly the not so cold weather owning to the global warming but actually that, that disgusting brush, of that creep, past her index finger.

Arrived was that unsettling and nauseating feeling in Ahana's chest causing the bile to come up her throat.

"Aahu ! " Came a familiar voice making her come out of her distaste.
