*Amy's P.O.V*
"Kids, breakfast is ready!" I heard my uncle yell from the kitchen.
I heard Sam get out of her bed and her footsteps were gliding across the floor before she said, "You coming, Amy?"
"I'll be there in a minute." I grumbled against my pillow.
Sam left the room and I was by myself as I tried to find some energy to get up. I honestly didn't feel like leaving my bed, I was too comfortable. But I knew breakfast was calling my name.
I gave myself some strength before I sat up in my bed and then left the room. When reaching the kitchen, I practically see a really nice breakfast that my uncle made. He made his famous bananarama pancakes, some scrambled eggs, bacon, and even breakfast croissants. It smelled heavenly.
"It's about time you joined us." Anthony said as he put some butter on his croissant.
"And it's about time you properly knew how to eat the butter without thinking of it as a drink."
Anthony shut up after I said that.
"The pancakes are fresh." Daniel said as there was a huge plate of the pancakes in the middle of the table.
"It looks delicious." I complimented his cooking.
"There's even some fresh fruit in the fridge."
"Yes, I would love some." Sam said as she already started to dig into her pancake.
"Here you guys go." Daniel said, putting the bowl of fruit on the table.
"Where are you going?" I asked my uncle.
"To the dealership." He tells me, "I need to have a talk with Johnny about the world tournament."
"Why is Johnny at the dealership?"
"He works there now."
"Johnny working at LaRusso Auto?" I questioned. "That's a new one."
"Yeah, you tell me. He, at first, wanted the same raise as Chozen."
"Chozen doesn't get paid though." Sam joined in on the conversation.
"Exactly. I had to explain it to him because he misheard what I was trying to tell him in the first place."
"And speaking of Chozen? Where is he?" I asked, eating a piece of banana.
"He's in Okinawa right now." Daniel explained, "But he'll be back soon."
My cousins and I shared a look but didn't press further about why Chozen is in Okinawa. Believe me when I say that sometimes, he'll share secrets.
"Okay, kids.." Daniel started to say, "I'm off to work but continue practicing. We'll be back at the dojo pretty soon."
We said goodbye to him before it's just the three of us.
"So do you guys think all three of us will be going to Barcelona?" Anthony asked.
"It would be pretty cool if it were to happen." Sam said.
"Spain is a really cool place." I said.
"I was talking to Devon about it a few days ago. She's pretty stoked as well."
I eyed my younger cousin. "Do you have a crush on Devon?"
"What?"
"It seems like you like her."
"Even if I did like her, she won't like me back." Anthony said, "She's older than me and she just sees me as Anthony. I'm not special or anything."
"Don't say that, Ant." Sam stared at her brother.
