𝗔𝗙𝗧𝗘𝗥 𝗔 𝗗𝗥𝗘𝗔𝗗𝗘𝗗 day of filming, the four finally had some time to themselves. well. more like two, since walker and wren were off somewhere.

it was currently 9:30pm, evie and mason, watching 10 things i hate about you.  sure, people hate on it, but its evies favorite rom-com.

"we should probably practice our lines." evie says, pausing the movie with a small smile. mason got his script as well as evie.

"yeah. i have a whole song to memorize." mason replys with a small smile. evie rolls her eyes with a smirk.

"alright. time for you to do karaoke then." she says with the smirk still on her face. mason immediately grabs the remote from out of her hands.

"no way! that is embarrasing." mason exclaims, putting the remote in different directions, making sure evie doesn't get it.

"awh, but i bet you're such a good singer, since you got this part." evie teases, reaching out for the remote.

"i think i'll stick to horror films from now on." mason replied quickly. he dodges evies arm from getting the remote making him smirk.

"a new character for me to obsess over then?" evie replys sarcastically with a grin, reaching for the remote again.

"mhm, totally." mason said. evie reached out one last time , falling in the making.

evie screamed slightly, as she fell on top of mason. mason held her waist, making sure she didn't fall harder.

mason stared at her lips, as well as she did. they leaned in then..

"we're back!" wren announced, then immediately stopping. walker stopped.

evie got off mason at the second. "and i'm gonna go for a walk." walker said with an awkward smile. they both slowly walked out the door.

the two people left in the room didn't stare at each other. they didn't know how to feel.

"i'm- i'm sorry! i didn't have to do that." evie says first, nervously. mason opened his mouth, but nothing came out.

evie immediately went out the room. "no- no, evie!" she heard mason call out. evie wanted to go back, she really did, but was too humiliated. he didn't like her back his face said it all!

or maybe she's overthinking it?

she needed to call isabella, now. isabellas the only one she can trust, in the cast. and she can't tell wren cause then she would tell walker, so she didn't have much of a choice.

evie dialed isabellas number. she was pacing back and forth in the hotel lobby. silently praying that isabella would pick up.

"evie, why are you calling right now?" isabella asked, confused. evie certainly didn't call anyone without a text.

"i messed everything up!" evie whisper shouted, trying not to be loud since there were people around.

"what do you-"

"i almost kissed mason! now he definitely hates me. and my sister and his brother walked in! my life could never be worse." evie said trying not to freak even more out.

"evie! you didn't mess anything up. the whole cast except you and mason know how much you both like each other." isabella explained, with a yawn at the end.

evie stopped for a second thinking about all the interactions she's even had with mason.
all the eye contact, and all the smiling, couldn't mean..

"shit! thanks bella, but i really have to go now." evie hang up the call, putting her phone in her pocket. she put her hair on her shoulders, before finally going in the elevator.

she's been wrong this whole time?
