Ch 18

My head was still spinning by the time i gained consciousness again. The pain in my body subsided quickly but my wrist burned, the pain bearable but never ending.

I was somewhere new now. I felt the familiar feeling of my wrist and legs tied up by thick rope. I could smell the scent of others like me around. I didn't know whether to be relieved or raged at it.

I opened my eyes to see I was in a prison. There was a brick wall behind me and cell bars that were rusted  and skinny surrounded me in a square shape.

Other beings were in the cell with me that i could smell, the whole area smelled like a mix of human, wolf, and metal.As I opened my eyes, they surrounded me, everyone here had their hands cuffed. The men started Whistling and howling, looking at me with unnerving eyes. Everyone was dressed in gray jumpsuits, the men with their hair cut off. The women with their hair in pony tails. All with a type of collar around their necks. I could feel that I didn't have one.

"New princess is awake, what'd you do to get put here baby doll." One said.
"Leave her alone!" Some women yelled, the men ignored. Soon the men in the cell started reaching for me, some saying disgusting things. A few of the men were off to the side, not engaging. The women in the cage had been staring quietly, all huddled in the corner protected by one another and some men who took a stand for them. They looked at me with pity. One it the men reached for my face with his hands but i quickly latched my teeth onto his finger, i felt it break in my jaws.

He yelped and quickly backed away. Attempting to tend to his wound, while the others backed up as well.
"We got a feisty one boys! The guards are gonna loveeee this!" He said

"YO GAURDSSS, NEW GIRLS AWAKE!" One of the inmates yelled.

Soon two guards were headed towards the cell. As they approached, everyone in the cell quickly ran to the walls. I was left in the center.

"If any of you approach you all will get shocked!" One commanded, the other unlocked the gate and went in.

She, the guard looked at me with fierce eyes.

"You are being taken to be seen for trespassing on NewMoon territory! Please, we do not enjoy force but we will use it if necessary. I will be unlocking your chains, then cuffing you, do not attempt to fight, the odds are not in your favor" she said.

I chuckled to myself, as I felt the odds were so in my favor. My body was no longer in pain besides the stinging in my wrist and I was now fully awake.

As she approached me, she whispered in my ear.

"If you do intend to fight, i'll let you know we are not your typical guards. And I enjoy a little ruffle from time to time" she smiled. She slowly took off each rope.

"Hey, she broke my fingers, teach her a lesson!" The same annoying guy yelled.

"She is not under our jurisdiction yet, we cannot harm her unless she intends to run" the guard by the cell gate yelled.

As the lady took off my last chain, I quickly took my chance. I ducked and swiped her legs with my feet, causing her to fall over. I quickly ran to the cell gate but the guard by it quickly closed it shut.

The woman I knocked over quickly got back on her feet and I heard an explosive laugh emerge from her.

"I love when they try to run" she smirked. With speed quicker than I expected, she bounced towards me, claws aimed for my stomach. I quickly moved to the side and pushed down on her back, pinning her against the cell gate. It wasn't locked yet, but held closed by her partner. I tried pushing her into it, but he wouldn't budge.
