Some would say that Erin Wilson is too young to be successful. Some would say Erin would never make it in the real world. Some would say Erin is an inspiring young Author ready to take the world by storm, one word at a time.

Who exactly is Erin Wilson though?

Erin Wilson ran through the halls, brushing past all of the crowding college students, not caring about the dirty looks and sneers she was getting. She rushed towards her professional writing class, though it was practically no use.

The second she barged in, the door slammed behind her and everyone's attention from the original lecture was now focused on her. Never before had she been so embarrassed in a setting like this. "Sorry, Mr. Lancaster! I know I'm a bit late, my car broke down."

No, Erin does not stay in the dorms. She's a broke college student already, why would she pay money for the dorms when she has a rich best friend who allows her to stay in her house, or, should she say MANSION for free.

Her professor, Mr. Lancaster, didn't look even the slightest bit amused. He just had the same face he always did, a strict no-nonsense gaze that terrified even the strongest of people. Erin couldn't help but feel like she was placed on trial in that moment and everyone was looking at her like she committed a heinous crime.

"Well, sit down already Ms. Wilson, or would you like to take more time out of my lecture?" Erin almost grimaced as she shuffled her feet to quickly grab a seat next to some tall-ish guy with fluffy brunette hair. "Sorry, I hope you don't mind me sitting here, it was the closest option." Erin whispered to him as Mr.Lancaster continued the lecture.

The taller boy, on the contrary of Mr. Lancaster, was entirely amused and intrigued. "Oh, no problem, I'm actually just auditing this class." The tall man said. Erin felt encouraged, so she smiled. "Thank you." Erin opened up her bag and brought her notebook out.

She could hear the lecture in the distance, but all she could focus on was the guy right next to her. Come on, Erin, you just met this guy, she thought to herself. Erin is what you would call a hopeless romantic.

She wrote books on romance because the poor girl didn't have much of the action herself. So, Erin couldn't help herself when she decided to introduce herself to a guy she never met, who was only auditing this class.

"I'm Erin," she muttered, "What's your name?" Just as she saw him start to move towards her in the corner of her eye to answer the question, Mr. Lancaster interrupted the greeting. "Ms. Wilson." Erin flinched, widening her eyes slightly as she turned her head towards Mr. Lancaster.

"If you would like to teach this lecture, continue. I'm all ears, but if not I would prefer if you kept your mouth closed, Ms. Wilson." Erin sunk further in her seat practically, her cheeks heating up under the embarrassment of being called out twice.

If she made any more interruptions, she would definitely get some of her essay score off or get kicked out entirely. So, Erin behaved for the rest of the lecture. This is so embarrassing. Erin didn't know if she was just seeing things but she could've sworn the man next to her was smirking.

Towards the end of the day, Erin was sat in the library reading "Zen in the art of writing" by Ray Bradbury. Erin was too intrigued to notice a guy sitting right across from her. "Hey Erin." She flinched as she quickly put her book down and stared up at him.

She instantly relaxed and seemed visibly relieved. "You scared the shit out of me." Erin laughed. The guy from earlier just smirked slightly as he sat up straight, since he was hunched over when he called her name.

"I don't think I got the chance to introduce myself, I'm Owen." He expressed, putting his hand out towards her. She shook his hand, slightly admiring how big it was compared to hers. "Well it's nice to meet you, Owen." She softly said.

The two sat and talked for around an hour, getting to know each other better. Erin explained her dreams of becoming an author, which is why she's taking that class. "What about you, Owen? Why are you auditing the class if you don't mind me asking?"

Owen just seemed to smile. Erin smiled as well. "Well, I'm actually a journalist so I was interested in the class, but I didn't want the credits. I just wanted the course and the lectures to help strengthen my writing."

Erin found herself falling more and more in love with this guy as he continued to talk. Call her crazy, call her mislead, but either way, Erin was doing what she always did, falling in love way too quickly and easily. Old habits do die hard.
