I wish I could find a reason why, after all this time, that you would be the one my brain or heart is stuck on.
I understand, I swear I do, that I can't call you my lover.But by the universe's grace, is there nothing I desire more. You've made it clear that your heart doesn't call for me like mine does for you.
Moving on doesn't feel possible but I dream of a moment where I no longer wish for your embrace but I can't, the memories of your warmth keep me dreaming, for the idea of us keeps my heart stagnant.
Forever stuck and forced to dream of forevers with you.
