There's nothing quite like autumn in New York. But it's not only the leaves that change. Something in the air brings out the true colors in everyone.
"Blair and Serena actually resorted to physical blows? Color me impressed." Carrington mused as she walked alongside her heiress best friend, coffees in hand as they made their way lazily towards Constance. "It was rather entertaining to witness." Ophelia admitted cheekily, her arm linked with the blonde as they laughed upon the retelling. "Gossip Girl would've killed to have physical footage of that." "I'm sure she would've killed for much less." Disconnecting their arms momentarily Ophelia Waldorf-Huntington pulled her vibrating phone out of her pocket to see an abrupt message from her cousin, demanding her presence in the school's courtyard for some newcomer's trial.
Letting out a groan of annoyance the ravenette shook her head before placing her phone back in her pocket as the school came into sight. "Why do you entertain your cousin's hierarchy when your status is virtually untouchable?". The blonde enquired, genuinely curious to the answer she would receive. "Our dear Ophelia is what some would call - a people pleaser." Theodore teased, placing a kiss on his rekindled girlfriend's cheek to announce his presence. "On that note. Duty calls."
Lifting her cup of coffee slightly to say bye the heiress continued to make her way through the school as previously mentioned, not bothering to entertain the countless eyes that followed each and every movement of hers. Sure, she loved the infamy, but these students saw her on a daily basis and never failed to act as though it was the girl's first day there.
"Happily interrupting this... thing, let's go B." Ophelia scrunched her face in disgust as she found herself privy to yet another Waldorf/Bass flirtation the moment she rounded the school's hallway. Placing her hand on her cousin's arm she dragged the impressionable girl towards the waiting courtyard. "I know he can be rather different in bed but for the love of all things B, find another obsession." "I'm not obsessed with him!". Blair immediately defended but her cousin simply rolled her eyes in response, knowing better than to believe the girl when it came to a certain Chuck Bass.
"Kelsey, Kelsey, Kelsey, how many times must we tell you? As one of the girls of the steps, you represent Constance royalty." Penelope was heard reinforcing upon a rather emotional young blonde who Ophelia was sure she had never seen before. "It should come as no surprise that many girls before you have gotten the ax when their choices reflected poorly on us." Isabel continued on as the heiress simply rolled her eyes in boredom. "I didn't realize." The girl tried apologizing but Blair was having none of her reasons. "That tights were not pants? Honestly."
Thankfully for the emotional girl Blair was interrupted by Vanessa demanding the cousin duo's attention. "Blair. Ophelia. A word?". Finally, being intrigued by something the ravenette did her best to ignore the frustration she still harbored for the home-schooled girl surrounding their last escapade. "Sixty seconds, clock it." Blair ordered Isabel who took her words seriously before the cousins walked closer to Vanessa. "What ae you even doing here? Shouldn't you be at some dusty old shop?". Ophelia didn't bother to be kind, her annoyance already showing through her posture. "As much as I hate these words coming out of my mouth, I could really use your help with this."
