"HINDI KO MA-GETS bakit kailangan mag-antay pa tayo ng ganito katagal." Iritableng singhal ni David habang nagmumukmok sa kanyang kinauupuan. "We already have the evidence in our hands! What are we still waiting for?"

"When you say evidence, you mean the missing poster and the butterfly hair clip? In case you forgot, that clip wasn't in our possession." Pinagkrus ni Warren ang kanyang braso at tumitig nang diretso kay David. "That paper, along with our presumptions, are the only things we have. That's hardly evidence, David."

Naghalukipkip nalang si David saka tumingin sa labas ng sasakyan. "My hunches are never wrong. I know that sick bastard has Madeleine."

Warren scooted closer to David, his chest slightly bumping David's shoulder, and surveyed Paul's house across the street. Bukas ang mga ilaw sa loob ng bahay kaya ang ibig sabihin nun ay nasa loob si Paul.

"Madikit ka masyado," reklamo ni David at bahagyang inilalayo si Warren na kulang nalang ay daganan na siya.

"I need to get closer, okay? I can't see the house." Pagrarason ni Warren at dinikit pa lalo ang kanyang katawan sa likod ni David.

David rolled his eyes before twisting his head to the side to glance at Warren. "Alam ko na 'yang mga galawan mo, Summers. Batak ka sa physical touch."

Warren chuckled at David's words but didn't deny the accusation against him. Instead, Warren inched himself closer to David and rested his chin on his shoulder.

"Warren—umayos ka 'nga! Para ka namang timang!" Reklamo ni David habang pilit nilalayo ang kanyang balikat, kaso patuloy lang si Warren sa paglapit.

Kulang na 'nga lang ay halikan na ni David yung window glass ng kotse dahil sa kakausog niya palayo.

David's resistance only lasted for a minute since the space inside the car was pretty limited and he had nowhere else to go.

When Warren heard David's defeated groan, he couldn't help but release a downward smile.

Warren buried his chin on top of David's shoulder again, breathing in his signature vanilla scent. Warren wanted to wrap his arms around David's stomach and feel his large body against his, but Warren stopped himself since they weren't actually alone inside the vehicle—Omar is sitting on the driver's seat.

"I'm sorry..." Bulong niya malapit sa tenga ni David. "I haven't been able to get this close to you for the whole day. It would seem that I'm deprived of your touch." Pagmamaktol ni Warren.

"Dami mo talagang pauso." Nakakunot na noong tugon ni David sa kanya.

Napangiti naman uli si Warren nang hindi na siya itinulak palayo ni David. They just stayed in that position for a while.

"Baka nakakalimutan mo ha... your secretary is with us right now. Are you sure that this is okay? Wala 'bang magiging problema kung makikita niya tayo na ganito sa isa't-isa?" David's tone indicates that he didn't mean it in a bad way—that he was just genuinely curious and worried at the same time.

Pansin kasi ni David, kahit hindi pa sila magkarelasyon ni Warren at nanliligaw pa lang ito, eh grabe na ang pagiging clingy ng lalaki sa kanya. Naisip naman ni David na kung ibang tao ang makakakita 'nun ay paniguradong iisipin nila agad na boyfriend na niya si Warren.

In addition, having a relationship with your boss could be considered unethical in some industries, especially with regard to conflicts of interest. David knows that when people find out about this, they'll surely jump to conclusions about Warren having favoritism with him because they're in this kind of relationship.
