FLORENCE'S POV:
I pulled down on my skirt, still watching my dangling legs swaying over the ocean. The air was icy and blew onto my pale skin. Today was a day where I was tempted to jump, although somedays the thought of my life finishing weren't in my interest. My body so nearly toppled downwards, when a large creak of the wood echoed. Yes, the bridge was so close to collapsing, but the creaks that followed afterwards sounded as if someone else was here.
I turned my head sharply, squinting my eyes to look closer at what was there. A figure soon emerged from the thick cloud of fog. He was tall and lean, and I didn't realise who it was until his face was clear from the mist. Harry. Harry Styles, one of the most 'popular' boys in my year. I groaned and turned my head to look at the raging sea. I felt the bridge dip slightly as a large sigh came from the right of me. "Harry, what are you doing here?" I said, staring straight into the distance.
"How do you know my name?" His voice was loud, which made me cringe as it broke the silence and sound of peacefulness. A small laugh emerged from my lips "We go to the same school idiot, and it's pretty hard not to know your name". I felt him snigger slightly from my response, which made me roll my eyes at him. "How come I haven't seen you around?" He questioned, his green eyes locking with mine. "
"Barely anyone knows me Harry" I mumbled, my fingers toying the hem of my skirt. "I'd like to know you" He said, his voice had turned soft and gentle. "Tell me everything about you" He carried on talking so sweetly to me. "Well uh, my name is Florence Victoria West, my birthday is on the 24th of May, I live with my mum, dad, and my little sister Isabella, I fucking love American Apparel and spend all my money and my life there, I hate school and everyone there except my best friend Daisy, I also hate my life, so that's why I'm so temped to jump off this bridge right now".
