"Queen Litana, I will speak with you later regarding the fire. I'll ensure you receive all the information and support you need," Cale said reassuringly. Then he turned to Toonka, who was seated beside Litana. "Commander Toonka, I'd also like to speak with you."

"Certainly! Thank you, Your Majesty," Litana replied, her excitement palpable.

"Very well, let's adjourn the meeting," Cale declared.

Today was the final day before the grand ball, and Cale was seated in the garden of a luxurious palace that had been generously provided for him and his entourage by King Zed. The garden, a haven of tranquility, offered a serene environment that perfectly suited Cale's disposition at the moment. He sat comfortably, sipping a cup of his preferred 'Not Lemon Tea', his eyes reflecting calm contemplation as he considered the matters at hand.

Cale had previously dispatched Paseton and Whitra to summon Queen Litana for a private discussion. He had strategically decided to postpone his conversation with Toonka, knowing well that Toonka's boisterous nature could turn any meeting into a challenging ordeal. Cale preferred to deal with him later, after more pressing matters were addressed.

As Cale enjoyed the quiet of the garden, the sound of a door opening drew his attention. Paseton and Whitra had returned, escorting Litana into the garden. They held the door open respectfully, allowing the queen to enter before bowing out, leaving Cale and Litana alone to converse.

Litana approached the elegantly set table where Cale was seated, her movements graceful and dignified. She stopped before him and offered a respectful bow, her voice soft yet formal as she greeted him. "Greetings to His Majesty, the Emperor," she said before taking a seat across from him.

Cale, always one to eschew unnecessary formalities, waved his hand dismissively. "There's no need for that. It's bothersome," he said, setting his cup down on the table and fixing his gaze on Litana, his expression becoming more serious.

"Let's get straight to the point, Queen Litana," Cale began, leaning forward slightly. Litana, sensing the gravity of the discussion, straightened her posture, her eyes filled with both hope and respect.

"Yes, Your Majesty," she responded, her voice carrying a note of anticipation.

"As I mentioned earlier, I expect you and your people to stand as allies in the forthcoming war against the sea and the White Star," Cale stated, his tone measured and authoritative. "In exchange, I offer you the means to aid your people-the solution to extinguishing the devastating fires that have plagued your lands."

Cale's hands rested on the table, his head tilted slightly as he studied Litana, awaiting her response. His demeanor was calm, yet his eyes held a keen expectancy.

"What is your decision?" Cale asked.

Litana did not hesitate. Her response was swift and resolute. "I have no objections, Your Majesty. In fact, I am inclined to offer you a piece of land from the forest as a gesture of alliance. Consider it a token of gratitude for your assistance and for your willingness to aid us in our quest for justice," she said, her voice carrying a sincere note of appreciation.

"I am deeply grateful for your support, Your Majesty," Litana added, her smile warm and genuine as she looked at Cale.

Cale, never one to turn down a beneficial offer, nodded in agreement, his demeanor brightening with a hint of satisfaction. "I have no objections to that," he replied, a trace of a smile tugging at his lips. "However, I will need some time to decide which specific parcel of land to request," he said, feigning contemplation, though his mind was already at work.
