Chapter 37: candy fancy

SHUICHI POV:

We stood in front of the store called candy fancy. The store where Tom bright  gets his weapons from. We both went into the store. It really did look like a normal candy store. It had many visitors. Woman, men and children were looking around or buying sweets. Me and my uncle tried to be as normal as we could. We both knew that it won't be as easy as in the other shop, cause here are customers. If we would randomly approach the "partner" from the other, it would lend suspicion on us and the people in here would be skeptical or even dumb. That could lend to the owner getting out his weapon and shooting someone in here and that's something we clearly didn't want. From the information we knew, we knew that there wasn't a secret room. We just had to make contact with the owner somehow and get to his secret building that was supposed to be somewhere near. Me and my uncle just chose some sweets and bought them. "Could we talk to the owner of the store after it closes? It's important." My uncle asked the cashier as he paid the sweets. "Huh? Well I could arrange it, yes."

"That would be great, thank you."
"Well you would have to wait for 4 more hours." The cashier answered after sending a message to the owner. We both nodded and then waited outside. " do you think it will work uncle?" " for sure. People like this are not the smartest Shuichi. But I think you know that." I nodded and sighed softly. I knew my uncle was right. People only get away with these things cause they have no other contacts. And so they think that they don't have to worry about anything. Stupid, truly stupid. After the 4 hours passed, the shop closed. That was our time. We carefully went to the backyard. A tall innocent looking man was standing there, looking at his phone. My uncle walked up to him and shook his hand. "Hello mister, so you are the owner of the shop?"
The owner nodded and asked us what we want. "I..need a weapon." ,I started and looked at him, "For revenge." His eyes widened and quickly nodded. "Of course, heh follow me." He started to walk and we followed him closely. It was a long way. We probably walked for like 40 minutes. We then stood in front of an abandoned house. So that was where he sold his weapons. It wasn't near the shop at all. He opened the door and went in. We followed. Just as he wanted to get a weapon, he could see my uncle holding a gun at him from the mirror. He quickly turned around. He tried to get a weapon but I already came before him, cause while he stared at my uncle I could easily knock him unconscious. My uncle the got out his handcuffs and tied him to a tree outside. It took a while until the owner woke up but as soon as he did my uncle kneeled down with a smile. "People like you are stupid. Like really." He groaned in pain and looked at us two. "Where is Tom bright right now? And don't act like you don't know him." He looked at us and it was clear that he didn't want to say anything, so my uncle put the gun against his head. "Speak, asshole." I never saw my uncle so mad before. Did he know him? "No." He just said. My uncle then stood up and sighed. "Fine then die here." The owner quickly interrupted him. "Wait!..I..I can say it, but for that..I want..to be free okay?" My uncle looked at him and nodded. He knelled down. "Okay, speak."

"He..he probably is in his way to the mysterious lady in town. She lives at the house on the mountain right there. He is on his way with his partner there and..probably wants to get poison or something there. She's known as a witch, because she looks like one. She is old and mean. No one likes her..but I'll give you an advice. Get into the house from the back. It's better this way. And..and then you might catch him! As I Know he's driving with a car..so if you'd use a helicopter you'd be faster.."

My uncle nodded and gave me a sign to free him. I knew that the police was on its way so the owner would get caught any way, since I send them every information they need about him. Also as I knew, he had nowhere to go. So me and my uncle just let him run, only for him to be caught in an instant. "Looks like he really was stupid" I muttered and my uncle chuckled. "Definitely" he just answered. We both then started talking to the cops. "We need a helicopter" my uncle just said bluntly. The cops started at him like he was crazy, so I explained everything. They nodded and got us an helicopter and a pilot reserved and will be here in some minutes. The cops also told us that they will make their way to the mountain as soon as possible since me and my uncle are still no cops after all, so we both are not allowed to arrest him. We only are here to investigate and catch him after all.

After the conversation finished,We then started to wait for the helicopter to arrive. But suddenly we heard a big explosion. It came from the candy fancy store. We both quickly ran towards it on,y to see some dead bodies lying on the floor. "Great..another case." I thought. "Could it be that.." I started but my uncle only nodded. "Yes. It was him. He probably knew that someone was gonna come after him so he set a dynamite for some hours. We luckily came earlier than he planned..so he doesn't know that we are still alive." I nodded. Me and my uncle truly thought the same. Some different cops and the ambulance came, so we left it to them and went back to the abandoned house. And just as we arrived our helicopter arrived too. The pilot smiled us and we quickly got in. Me and my uncle talked about the case while the helicopter made its way to the lady's house..
