Love is a beautiful feeling. It's not confined to a couple, though. It prevails in everything around us, and it's the most sacred thing in the world. It's cherished when it's shared with someone who knows you better than you know yourself. The most sacred bond is said to be between a mother and her child, and after that comes the bond between siblings. The cherry on the cake is when the little sister is pampered by her elder brother. Of course, the scoldings are implied, but the love overpowers them, leaving no place for scoldings and tears. That's the beauty of love.

In the vast city of Mumbai, there's a family that holds love as their priority, traditions are primary, and their thinking is modern. They are open-minded, but also concerned. They are the Malhotras - Lalit and Savita Malhotra. They're blessed with two children, the elder son, Vineet, and the younger daughter, Nitya Malhotra.

Vineet is usually the calm soul, while Nitya mirrors his silent personality with her constant chirping.

She's the chirping bird of the house, and whenever she's not home, the place seems to be covered with gray clouds. Her constant chirping, the leg-pulling of her brother, and playing pranks are the soul of the house. Lalit and Vineet are highly concerned for her, but Vineet is a little more protective of his sister, Nitya.

It's a fine day in the Malhotra household. Vineet enters the house after his morning jog and finds his parents relishing their morning tea. He glances at the wall clock; it's 7 AM. He looks at his mother, asking about Nitya. Savita glances at her son,

"Vineet beta, vo hamari kahan sunti hai? Jab tak tu usey jagayega nahi, wo nahi jaagegi, vaise bhi usey humse pehle tera chehra dekhna hota hai," Savita says, her tone teasing

"Maa, aap bhi na, aisa kuch nahi hai. Ye uski zidd hai," Vineet says, running his hand through his hair.
