You saved my life

Chapter 39: not as planned..

SHUICHI POV:

It Actually took a while till we arrived. Almost 2 hours. Even my uncle was surprised by that. But as soon as we arrived we made our way to the back. Both of us with our guns. We just want to get into the house until we heard a low voice. "My my you don't have to hold guns boys! I'm not a damn witch nor am I an evil person." We turned around to see the old lady the owner was talking about. "Did he trick us?" I Immediately thought. Th old lady stood up.
"I swear I'm not planning anything evil. One guy wrote a letter to me and said he wants to have poisons and that he's on his way..but no way in hell I'd give him poison. I'm not crazy.. war was already enough for me. Don't want to land in prison too. Soo when you're searching for him...he's not here yet..so you have to wait. Want some tea?"

We both looked a bit dumbfounded and stared at her confused. "Oh man don't tell me some person talked bad about me! Only because I'm a little mean! I mean how'd you guys feel when children come here to pain my house!" The old lady sighed and sat down tiredly. "I thought when I live here I'd Atleast have my peace but no! Now I'm even involved with detectives and cops! Just great!" The old lady complained.

"I'm deeply s-sorry for that!" I quickly said but she just waved it off. "But..we can't have tea..we need to do our work." "Understandable" she just said and then went quiet. We both saw that as an allowance to go through her house. Everything seemed well. So we made a plan on how to catch him. We set traps and I hid behind the door. My uncle hid behind  a wall.
And so we waited..and waited and waited. We almost wanted to come out of our hiding spots but then we hear a man shout. "I'm here old lady open up!" His voice sounded rough and my uncle nodded at me and hid again. But the next thing that happened was unexpected. He just opened the door and came in. I pointed my gun at him but then suddenly another person came in. Someone I knew..
My eyes widened and I lost my focus. Tom bright quickly turned around and shot me in the arm. He knew I was there..

I winced in pain put I didn't let go of my weapon and so shot him as well. Right in the stomach. He coughed out blood but his partner..or should I say my..ex best friend.

"I'll get revenge shuichi. I swear."

Right..that's what he said. I shook my head and focus per on the situation again. They fought es my uncle. The two wounded. My uncle fine. I quickly stepped in again and stood next to my uncle. My arm bleeding heavily. I pointed my gun at my ex bestfriend and shot him in the head. He just fell down the stairs into the basement and lied there. Dead. Tom bright quickly used his chance, jumped out of the window, got into our helicopter and held the gun to the pilots head. The pilot had no other choice but to follow his leads. And so he managed to escape. I sighed and kneeled down in pain. My uncle quickly ripped apart some of his clothing and bandaged my wound. I looked at the dead body of him and sighed deeply..

"We were best friends in the past. Long time ago..about 4 years? Doesn't matter.
His parents were murderes who killed many people. And I accidentally solved the crime that couldn't be solved. His parents crime. I took away his parents. And since then he hated me a lot. And he became just like his parents. But I don't feel pain of seeing him dead. I also don't feel regret of solving the crime.:"

I just sat on the floor, but then the old lady came in. "Gosh! You are lucky that I'm a healer." She said and took out many things like healing herbs. She then started to treat my wound and put a proper bandage on it. " now for that you have to clean this bloody mess here!" My uncle nodded and started. "We failed" I just said. "You two didn't fail. Since I didn't give him the poison he needs he has to search for a new person to give it to him."

"She is right shuichi." My uncle said. "We just have to investigate and follow his steps." I nodded and then..I forgot what I did. The next thing I remember is that The police came short after and took care of the dead body. They also listened to our story and understood the situation. The only problem was that he know knew that we are still coming for him. But I was sure that me and my uncle could catch him. I would never give up about something like that. I sighed softly and the old lady just sat in the chair and did a check up of my wound the next day. Then I got brought to the hospital. My uncle sat beside my bed and smiled at me. "Well guess what I found!" He asked me. "What?"

"Heh. I found another hint that could lead us to him. We just need to follow his route. Easy!" I smiled back and nodded. "His next goal is mister puppy! Apparently he escaped from the prison as well. He is known as a poison worker. But the thing is that Tom has to give him money first. So his true next goal is to steal money. That means you can recover probably while I get to the shop where he wants to steal from. Because the thing is..I made a deal with mister puppy. The deal is that if he helps us..then he is free from prison. Cause he Actually wants to change. I could see it in his eyes. So we will catch him the next week. Oh! Did I even tell you that you passed out?"

"Huh?"
I was a bit overwhelmed by his plan. But well what surprised me more is that I passed out. I didn't even remember if passing out, but everything went so fast so it would make sense.
"Yeah when the old lady treated your wound and I told you that we need to investigate. You passed out for 2 days. You got me worried.!"

"Oh. Sorry.."

"It's alright. Now get some rest. Okay?"
I nodded and then closed my eyes..

Soo end of chapter 39 and yes I just spend 3 to 4 hours writing the 3 chapters cause I felt bad for not updating...weelll eh anyway I hope you liked it!    (you better do! Heh.)
