✶ ꒰ after spending many months rotting away in my drafts, i finally found the motivation to properly pursue this book! i simply adore each and every one of my ocs for various reasons, and with the amount of effort and time i put into creating them, why not have a whole book dedicated to their existence?

to be entirely honest, this is more for me than anything - by making this, it hopefully should be easier to navigate my collection of original characters rather than sifting through several documents hidden away in the depths of my computer.

the next few points are just general things to be considerate of; i'm sure everyone has common sense however i still feel the need to reiterate these things :

✶ ꒰ mine : all of the characters mentioned in this book are my own. nothing has been taken from elsewhere; i poured my blood, sweat and tears (wow, tad bit dramatic there) into making these guys - i will not stand for anyone claiming otherwise. please don't try and steal them for your application to an applyfic or your book; taking inspiration is alright, but if i see any blatant copying then i will not be very happy.

✶ ꒰ plagiarism : ok, i feel like this is a given. just... don't do it? it's not that hard. i'm gonna be so real right now - the graphics in this book will be mediocre at best, nothing really worth your time stealing. but if even after that you're still thinking of plagiarising my work, i want you to take a long hard look in the mirror and ask yourself 'out of all the things i could be doing, is this really the best use of my time?'  - if your answer is yes, then #1. i am flattered that you think i am worthy of stealing from /j and #2. i will silently pray for your downfall every day. seriously though, don't plagiarise - it's not cool.

✶ ꒰ interaction : i know i said this book is mainly for my benefit, but if you're going to read it the least you could do is give it a comment somewhere. the last thing i want to do is put stuff out there that people just couldn't care less about, because then what was the point? also, i just love reading comments in general. in fact, i welcome them with open arms. even if you think the character sucks; tell me. none of this is set in stone - i'm genuinely open to other people's opinions and thoughts, otherwise i wouldn't have had the confidence to put this book out there in the first place. what i'm trying to say is just don't be afraid to interact with the book, because rest assured that's exactly what i want you to do.

you guys will definitely recognise most, if not all, of the characters on here ^^. stay tuned for the first oc, who should be up in the next week or two (once i finally figure out the style of layout i want to use lmao). a hint for who it could be : he's probably my favourite oc that i have ever made, and i have used him a lot on a certain dc server (hehe).
