Audition with delay

Today is the day.

Jaejoong was already a little late, therefore trying to walk faster as ever.

It was a sunny day in Seoul and the city wasn't even awake yet. Only the businessman in their perfectly fitting suits eyed the teenager, as he made his way to the large building at the end of the road.
Let them stare would Jaejoong think if his mind was not already filled with the lyrics to this one special song.

On this day nothing should go wrong.
Jaejoong woke up to his alarm and ate a soup his mother made him. He had his sheets already in his backpack and then- they were gone.
After what felt like hours of searching he found them lying next to his bed.
Jaejoong just ran out the house with his backpack and a banana milk in his shaking hand.

He arrived at the huge building at exactly 6:20am and the doors were already closed. Are my dreams over yet?
Frantically Jaejoong knocked on the door until he saw an elderly man walking towards him.
,,You are too late."
His voice had a harsh sound to it.
,,Please Sir... I'll- I'll make up for it somehow. Just let me in."

,,Mabye you really can. Mister Park could you step aside please."
A younger man walked towards the door and pinned Jaejoong with his eyes.
,,He might be exactly what Lee Soo Man is searching for. I mean look at him. He is beautiful."
The man opened the door and walked with Jaejoong to a large room, where more than probably 80 boys sat on stools. ,,When your name is called you walk into the next room."
Said the man and went back to a different part of the building.

Slowly Jaejoong feel onto one of the free stools and quietly drank his banana milk. ,,You know it's not good to drink sugar before you sing, right?"
Asked a boy probably 2 years younger.
Jaejoong nodded and answered:
,,I know. I was just feeling a bit hungry and nervous."
The other boy smiled.
,,I think all of us are nervous here. This audition could change our life. Oh I am Junsu by the way."
,,I am Jaejoong. Nice to meet you."

The two were a little to nervous to talk and focused on their sheets instead of talking.
He seems like a kind person... Maybe we can exchange our numbers later.
Jaejoong was looking forward to making a new friend, he almost didn't hear a woman saying his name.
,,I think it's our turn." Says Junsu next to him and together with 6 more boys they walk into a large room.
And there he sits, like the kind of Korean, Lee Soo Man.
