You felt like you were in the black void of unconsciousness for an eternity and for a second at the same time.

You first started to hear the voices of Aviva, Martin, Koki, and Jimmy, faintly.

Although your head hurt and all you wanted to do was to keep sleeping, you opened your eyes.

First, it was a blurry picture of a white room with some colors here and there. But when you finally opened them, you saw it was the small medical room of the Tortuga.

It was light blue, all made with tiles like a hospital. It had a bunch of medical equipment on the side of each of the two beds that were at the end of each side of the room.

There was a painting on the wall and a plant on the corner. And the light was a very light yellow.

Yet, the first thing you noticed after that was the person sitting timidly in the middle of the room.

Martin.

He was sitting in a wooden chair, looking down and lost in thought, seemingly sad and worried. He had an acoustic guitar beside him, which surprised you a lot.

You looked at your right and saw the other bed at the other side of the room; there is where Chris was.

You raised your hand and put it on your head, as the headache was pulsating. Then you rubbed your eyes and weakly used your arms to sit down.

Martin looked up, surprised, and yet waited until you finished sitting up, looking at you with expectation.

You looked at him, noticing he didn't want to invade your space but was kinda anxious to hear what you'd say, so you smiled at him and said hi.

"Hey Bot" Martin said, smiling, in a very quiet soothing voice, "how are you feeling?"

You looked down, slightly embarrassed of the attention he gave you.

"I'm good" you said, "I'm just kinda tired and with a headache.... How long has it been?"

"Uh..." He said, looking up and stroking his chin, "about eight hours?" He added, now looking at you with a smile.

"Eight hours!?" You heard Chris say across the room, sitting up abruptly.

Martin looked at Chris with the same innocent calm smile and said: "Ah, no, dude, you were out for waaaaay longer. If we count from when you fell off the tree, it would probably be like twelve"

"WHAT!?" Chris said, shocked and concerned.

"I thought it would be eight days..." You said, barely audibly.

"Hey" Martin said, "do you guys want to hear a song? I'm pretty sure that will make you feel better"

You smiled at how sweet and innocent that was.

"Yeah..." You and Chris said, with hearts filled with endearment.

Martin then gently grabbed the guitar and put it on his legs, then prepared to play it.

First he hit a few notes to test it, and then he started to play a very gentle and soothing melody: the song Home.

And so, he softly started to sing:

When he finished, he looked up and saw Chris smiling, he said: "Thanks bro, you always know how to make me feel better"

Yet he stopped smiling and looked extremely surprised when he saw you, tears flooding down your face.
