Dear diary. Wait,that's too girly. Take two.
Salutations journal! This is Martin Nasimuno and today's my 7th birthday. I hope this day goes well. My parents gave me this journal for safekeeping and I feel like I'll use this long enough. The pages aren't infinite but this will be my friend for the next few years. I love reading and writing! Did you know that I wrote a winning poem during my first year? Oh that gives me an idea, I'll write it here.
Speak the World's magic

The trees turned orange again
They're now my favorite color!
Now I wonder where they've been
Do they still change into more colors?
I see planes, I see stars, and I even see nothing
Wow this world is really cool!
I want to explore every inch, every place, and eat anything
Food just makes my mouth drool
My mom told me, the world is not good
Is it really? Don't make me mad!
If beauty is I see in the world, does that mean beauty is bad?
I don't know yet, but one day, I would
Cool right? I really hope I prove my mom wrong and that the world is just beautiful. She doesn't go out so I don't trust her words. By the way, what does sugarcoat mean? I overheard my parents talking about me and they I only heard the words "You can't just sugarcoat it especially for Min". I forgot to tell you, Min is my nickname in this house, short for Martin. But can you tell me what sugarcoat means? I feel like it means covering up cereal or food with sugar? My mom always gets mad at me for eating too much sugar. I haven't heard the rest of their conversation but it seemed like a serious one. But what does my cereal have to do with it?
Anyways, I finished top of the class in my second year! My parents didn't say a thing but I guess they were just speechless. See, I already used a page of this journal. This is gonna be a fun ride!
Oh, since I'm writing this. Old me, here's a message. I don't care if you're one second old or even 10 years older now. But I want you to read this and answer me one day. The world is ours right? It's beautiful right? I hope you don't be like one of those adults who ruin everything! They're always grumpy and don't smile. Smile for me Min.
