Chapter 2 The Mansion

Clara pov
Mansion ? I thought to myself and looked at the direction Rose was pointing at .  I was stunned. It was not just any mansion it was like a freaking dream . Honestly it gave me mafia  vibes.

"Let's go inside and ask for help" she said
I looked between both of us and said "Noo"
Yeah just because u had became introvert suddenly out of nowhere said my inner thoughts.
How would I not because no way the guards would let us entry . However it was not like Rose would listen to me so here she spoke excitedly
"Let's go inside, we will get a view of the mansion and also will book a cab ."

"No" I still said firmly
"Why?? " She whined " Can u see anyone in this place now? Can u see any house here?? " She again questioned

"Okay" I said defeatedly I hate that she right but still deep down I also want to go inside.

When we towards the gate a guard came running to us and said
"Sorry but u can't go inside . "

"We just want to make a call. Our phone doesn't have network connection" .Rose said

"No u can't go" the guard said now being angry.

"Ok then can we just make a phone call with ur phone?" I asked

"No. Now just get out" the guard said now rudely
What was his problem huh . Neither is he helping nor he is letting us go inside "

" But we just want to make a phone call!" Rose said disbelievingly.

Just then a voice came from behind
" What happened Dyan ? What are these beautiful ladies saying?"

"Good morning Mr . Chambers .They are trying to break dow- " he was interrupted by both me and Rose
"No we're not. We just wanted to make a call!!'

Then the owner of the voice we heard just now came into apperance. He was an old man belonging to his 60s or 70s and was wearing a black suit and shoes which were brighter than my future . His outfit was literally screaming I am rich and this whole building belong to me . The rings he was wearing in his finger is more costlier than my whole outfit"

"Hello I am Oliver chambers.Sorry for the inconvenience. How may I help you?" He said politely

" Iam Clara Hazel and this is my friend Rose Jordan . I just wanted to ask if we can just borrow your phone for a minute to make a call. Actually our car broke down in the middle of the road and we don't really know this  place " I said

He handed Rose his phone to Rose . While Rose was making a call I took a peek at the mansion staring at awe. I could see a number of cars parked at the garage. This man is really a billionaire. Lucky I thought to myself.

Just then Rose said " The cab is not available. It says sorry but the cab is currently not available to your mentioned location"

"Ohnoo... What we will do now?"

" You can come inside. My grandson can give you a lift to your house"Oliver said and within I could reply you have done a lot for us we don't want to trouble you Rose had already entered inside.

I awkwardly smiled at Mr. Chambers and said " Don't mind her . She is a bit too excited"

Mr. Chambers smiled and said "it's ok"

After we went inside I got seated at their living room . The interior was really gorgeous. The stairs , the celling , the cushions uff! Everything was very beautiful and matched the vibes of the exterior. " Thank you Mr. Chambers . And your house is really gorgeous"
"Oh thank you child and you can call me Oliver. It would be more good "
He responded with a smile with I returned him.

Oliver was really a nice man.
As I continued admiring the place Oliver said or called loudly" Austin!!"

Haven't I heard that name before?

"Hey" Rose whispered while I continued admiring the mansion. "Hmm?"

"Isn't he your neighbour?" She asked
" My neighbour?" I said still not paying her much attention

"No he can't b-" I said as I turned my gaze towards the staircase. My jaw dropped to the ground.
