Pregnant???- part 2

I sat there staring at them.

I didn't know what to do. I was frozen, chills came over my body reality finally starting to feel real. I did the only thing I could think of in that moment. Call char. As I picked up my phone tears started filling my eyes, I dialled chars number and she picked up almost straight away "hi Marjorie how did you go?" She said unaware of the life changing news I have just received. "Charlotte can you please come here I need someone here." I said through quiet sobs. "Of course Marjorie I'll be there in a few seconds." She said hanging up.

We both stood there with the tests in front of us. It was silent I was re-living every second that I found out. It was like it was running circles in my brain all leading back to this moment. "Oh Marjorie" char said hugging me reassuring me. "Charlotte what do I do?" I said still hugging her, she pulled away and put her hands on my shoulders and looked me in the eyes and said"listen Marjorie you have to tell Reece, it's for the best" "b-but how, I can't he will leave me" I replied "Reece would never leave you Marjorie, and if you tell him then you will be able to figure it out together trust me marjorie" char said "ok. I will tell him" I said worried, char smiled at me and said "great, we can go now if you want? I can go with you but you are the one who has to tell him" we walked out of the bathroom and went to Reece's nursery.

I slowly walked to Reece's office, char beside me holding my hand she lets go when we reach the door. I look back at her and she just nods, i place my hand on the door handle and take a deep breath before entering. "Hey gorgeous, what's wrong?" He says noticing my red eyes "hey, I have something to tell you" I say walking closer "yeah of course you can tell me anything, what is it?" He replies "I'm pregnant." I say handing him one of the tests

It was silent until Reece stood up and hugged me at first I was confused but then I hugged him back. When we pulled away Reece said "it's going to be ok we can work through this together I promise" I just broke down in tears again "so your not going to leave me?" I said "Marjorie I would never leave you, I love you" he said kissing my forehead "I love you so much Reece thank you" I said now smiling. How did I get so lucky.
