"(Y/n)! You've been working through the paperwork since last night! C'mon lets go out and watch the entrance exam!"A loud voice calls out. The pen in (Y/n)'s hand pauses, her (e/c) eyes peering up and looking at her roomate to her right side. Her eyes, although a bit weary and tired, dragged over to the window sill on the left of their dorm that had started to pour in light from the rising sun. Books were scattered across the dorm room with loose bits of paper here and there.
"Ah, it's morning already?"She murmurs. Birds were singing outside, and students were beginning to rise out from their dorms and bustling about, enjoying their last day of holidays before classes that were going to start the very next day. 'It's a nice day outside today...', she thought, as she looked at the clear cerulean sky.
"Hold on, I'll finish this one last case,"(Y/n)'s attention diverts back towards the paper on her desk when suddenly her vision was blocked.
"Ah!" She gasps lightly, her eyes flying up towards her room mate who had put her hand in front of (Y/n)'s face, blocking her view of the papers in front of her.
"You've been up all night looking at case after case and giving suggestion after suggestion for each one, I couldn't even sleep correctly because of the light radiating from your desk last night! Can't you hand it off to someone else? Surely, someone else in the Bureau of Magic can do this instead of you?" Livia Le Moulage shouts loudly, slamming her hand on the table of papers and scooching it over for it to join the rest of the pile of unfinished cases.
(Y/n) sighs heavily, defeated already, Livia always had that effect on others, especially (Y/n). (Y/n) stood up weakly from her seat, taking in a deep breath and stretching her arms and back.
"You're right, maybe I should send the unfinished cases back to the Bureau, I caught up on most of the work, the Bureau should be back on track to hearing the cases and—Ah!" A sudden weakness in her knee gave her out. In a flash, Livia's arm flew across and pulled (Y/n) back up.
"Woah there! You've been sitting down for so long, it's a wonder you can even stand up at this point. No matter! Let's go watch the entrance exams!! I heard someone passed the written component in less than 5 mins of starting, we have to see this genius! Who knows, they might even rival you (Y/n)!" Livia winks, dragging (Y/n) by the arm already making her way outside their dorm room and towards the place where the entrance ceremony was being conducted.
"The entrance exam? What's so interesting to see about that?" The (h/c) girl wondered out loud. Personally, the girl was set on finishing the cases by the end of the day to take more work load off the Bureau and hopefully herself as well once the school term started, but Livia had other plans.
Livia's grey eyes shot behind her with a certain fire, "To see cute guys obviously!". She huffed with a smug smile on her face and a thumbs up. Rolling her eyes, (Y/n) couldn't help it but be dumbfounded, she saw that response coming from a mile away.
