Lucien sat on the bed, his head in his hands. Why do I feel so guilty for what Diana did? It wasn't even my fault...or was it? Of course it was, you idiot! He'd never have been hurt, if you only stayed where you were actually supposed to be. The look of betrayal on the young man's face had made his heart lurch and his stomach turn itself into several nots. Diana sat beside Lucien and laid a small kiss on his cheek, rubbing his back she spoke gently. "Don't worry about it babe. They wont hurt you as long as I'm around."
"Diana why'd you...have to stake him so many times..?" Diana gave me some kind of facial expression I couldn't quite read.
"That bastard had it coming to him." Lucien didn't like the way she had handled the vampire, in fact it was brutal and scandalous. "Besides, why were you out there alone? You could have been killed."
"I was perfectly fine!" Truthfully Lucien knew that he wasn't supposed to be out there all alone but he wanted to get a better feel of my opponents and the lay of out of the castle grounds to be better prepared for the next attack on the castle...but after his encounter with the vampire prince he had a weird new idea that not all monsters where the way the Coat Of Lions described them to be. Sure Octavious Mordex a previous Coat Of Lions was definitely not one of the good ones, but something deep in his gut was telling him that the vampire was not as bad as Diana made him out to be. In fact, he seemed kind hearted and gentle when unprovoked.
"He could have killed me...but he didn't."
"He would have. Trust me, not a single one of those things are good. You best remember that." Diana stood but before she left she gave me another kiss and playfully knocked my hat off my head. "Sleep well babe, I'm going to talk to Scarlett about upgrading some things."
I suddenly couldn't believe that all monsters were bad. I also honestly expected them all to be kind of ugly like Octavious, but the stranger was nothing like Octavious to be truthful he was quite exquisite and mesmerising. Lucien wasn't about to admit that a monster was attractive though. What would Diana say? She'd be pissed off, maybe even hate me...which in turn was true if Lucien decided to not want anything to do with the Coat Of Lions or Diana. She'd have his head, girlfriend or not he'd be dead if he sided with the inhuman kind.
Standing in front of his bedroom mirror he started to strip down to almost nothing, after he left his shirt and tank top in a pile on the floor by the mirror he took a deep breath starring at their scars and muscles on his semi pale tanned upper body. Taking his hat off locks almost ash blond hair framed his face perfectly he almost looked perfect...then why did Diana's love feel so...well fake? She acted like she loves him. But something deep in Lucien's gut was screaming that this was all fake. Taking his belt off he dropped it on his hat and clothes that sat at the foot of the mirror abandoned, taking his pants off he stood there in his boxers and sighed and wondered to himself. That reaction he got from the vampire was something real, he had never been looked at in a way like that before, not even by his girlfriend Diana.
Laying on the bed he lay on his back starring at the ceiling his breath was deep and steady and then his thoughts kept circling back to HIM...he felt like he should go back and apologise for Diana, he fell asleep to the princes face printed on his eyelids free a sense of guilt and frustration occasionally sliced his ONLY moments of peace while of thinking of the prince he could barely sleep at all.

"Well that didn't exactly go to plan..." limping back to the castle Caspian approached the gates, his leg and arms throbbed as he managed to rip out only one of the three stake. Two still remained in his arm, tossing the one from his leg to the ground he sat on a rock gasping for air. His body was shaky and his heart rate was declining dramatically, not good.
Caspian proceeded to the gates of the castle clutching his bloody arm cradling it close to his chest, the blood had seeped all the way through his clothes and all down his arm, the poison was kicking in making it almost impossible to breathe clearly or even see clearly, his skin was hot, sticky and sweaty. Onyx sat in her usual spot and almost immediately leapt down to his aid, growling she bellowed for Magyar whom appeared in seconds. "Magyar! Get Volkov now! Caspian has been infected with silver dust!"
Just as soon as he appeared Magyar vanished to get his gramps no doubt, Volkov had experienced the silver poisoning before many times, all thanks to Diana. Onyx carried Caspian to his chambers and laid him very carefully in his bed, she made sure to delicately pull out the stakes and trashed them properly. "Onyx~"
"It's okay stay with us, the Master is on his way." My eyes felt heavy and I felt Hypernira calling me, Caspian it's not time yet she said. But I felt like it WAS time, I was in agony.
"How bad is it Onyx?" I recognised my gramps voice but for a weird reason I couldn't see him, all that I could see now was a green and grey blur of shapes.
"Not good Sir, he's fading fast..." A candy green aura enveloped my vision as I blacked out, the last thing on my mind was hunters name smashing my brain to splinters...Lucien.
