The dawn of the entrance exam day broke with a sense of excitement and nervous energy across the academy. The sprawling grounds, once silent and reserved for practice, were now abuzz with students preparing for the formidable challenge ahead. Josh Fale and Faye Fale, resolute in their preparations, navigated the crowded hallways, their minds focused on the intense test they were about to face.

As they moved through the throng of students, Josh inadvertently collided with a figure radiating arrogance and authority. Maiku Muki, her AWM sniper rifle, an SSS-class weapon, rested confidently over her shoulder, turned abruptly to confront him. Her eyes were sharp and unyielding, a sneer curling her lips.

"Watch where you're going, Fale. This isn't a place for clumsy fools like you," Maiku snapped, her tone icy and cutting.

Josh, unruffled, met her gaze with calm indifference. "Sorry, Maiku. Didn't mean to get in your way."

Maiku's annoyance only intensified. "Of course you didn't. It's typical of someone like you-always in the way, always useless. Do you even think you stand a chance in this exam? With that pathetic attitude of yours?"

Josh's response remained steady and composed. "I don't see the point in engaging with you. I have more important things to focus on."

Maiku's eyes flashed with irritation, her voice rising as she continued to taunt him. "Oh, really? Do you think you're so special with your AimBot? Just wait until you see what real skill looks like. I'm sure you'll crumble under the pressure."

Faye, who had been following closely behind, watched the exchange with growing concern. Unable to tolerate Maiku's relentless taunts any longer, she stepped in between Josh and Maiku, her stance protective and commanding.

"Maiku, that's enough!" Faye's voice cut through the tension with authority. "Why do you keep picking on Josh? What's your problem?"

Maiku's surprise was evident, but her irritation remained. "I'm just speaking the truth. He's always in the way and can't even stand up for himself."

Josh finally spoke up, his tone calm and resolute. "I can insult her back, but it's a waste of my time."

Faye was taken aback by Josh's response. "Why do you let her insult you like that? You should stand up for yourself!"

Josh shrugged, his expression unchanged. "It's not worth my time. I'd rather focus on preparing for the exam."

**The Entrance Exam Briefing**

As the conversation ended, the academy staff began gathering the candidates in the central auditorium for the briefing. The room was filled with a mix of anxious and determined faces, all eager to understand the details of the exam. A large holographic display flickered to life, casting a blue glow across the room.

The head instructor stepped forward, commanding attention with his authoritative presence. "Welcome, candidates. Today's entrance exam will test your skills in a simulated war zone. You will face war-ready NPCs programmed to engage in combat scenarios that mimic real battle conditions."

The display changed to show a detailed overview of the exam. "Your objective is to score points by neutralizing these NPCs and completing various tactical challenges. The NPCs are designed to be highly combat-effective, reflecting the intensity and unpredictability of a real war scenario. Points will be awarded based on accuracy, strategy, and efficiency. The minimum score required to pass is substantial, reflecting the demanding nature of the exam."

The room fell silent as the instructor continued, the gravity of the situation sinking in. "Be aware that this simulation is designed to push you to your limits. Failure to meet the required score may have serious consequences, including potential injuries or, in extreme cases, death. The test is designed to ensure only those truly ready for the challenges of warfare will succeed."

The holographic display then shifted to highlight the legendary weapons used by the top students. Josh's FN SCAR and Maiku's AWM were showcased with detailed explanations of their capabilities.

"Josh Fale will be utilizing the FN SCAR, an SSS-class assault rifle renowned for its precision and power. Equipped with an AimBot mod, this weapon offers unmatched accuracy and tactical advantage. However, Josh's magical abilities are limited; he can only enchant his physical capabilities for one hour each day. His strategy will need to compensate for this limitation."

The display then focused on Maiku's weapon. "Maiku Muki wields the AWM, an SSS-class sniper rifle. This weapon is equipped with Wallhack capability, a feature enhanced by Maiku's mastery of wind magic. Her shots can pass through walls, making her a deadly opponent from long distances. Her confidence and skill are reflected in both her weapon and her arrogance."

The briefing continued, but Faye was not featured on the display. Instead, the focus shifted to general information about the exam.

As the briefing concluded, the candidates were directed to their preparation areas. The air was thick with anticipation as they geared up and mentally prepared for the exam. Josh and Faye shared a few final words of encouragement before the test began, their bond of mutual support evident in their brief exchange.

Josh, Faye, and Maiku, each with their unique strengths and strategies, were ready to face the exam's challenges. The day promised to be a grueling test of their abilities, and the stakes were high. The simulated war zone awaited them, ready to reveal who would rise to the occasion and who would falter under pressure.
