BTS' New York concert cut short & hi-touch event canceled after gun threat

ARMYs in New York for BTS' show tonight had an amazing time, but unfortunately the event wrapped up in confusion and frustration. Everyone in the audience couldn't help but be confused when the concert was abruptly cut off at the end - there were no goodbyes and only one encore song, and the boys had not performed either "Dope" or "Heungtan Boys" as everyone had been expecting.

Even more shocking for the fans, the hi-touch event as well as the photo-op were canceled, leaving some in tears as it was an event they had been so looking forward to. Currently, it is rumored that all fan engagement events for all 4 USA stops have been or may be canceled.

The concert staff announced that they had no choice but to make this decision for the safety of the members and all the fans in attendance. Although nothing is currently confirmed, it is highly likely that the cancellation and the abrupt end of the concert happened due to a gun threat on Rap Monster.

One international netizen posted the following on Twitter:

She was allegedly contacted by one of the Best Buy Theater venue staff, and initially insisted that she had been hacked and it wasn't her who posted the initial gun threat. 

[A/N: The staff tweeted her "Are you at the BTS show in NYC? This is the Best Buy venue management and I'd like to talk to you. You are not in trouble."]

[A/N: And the girl reply "  My name isn't hafsa it's britanny I live in the UK and I'm I'm ARMY please stop sending me hate I was hacked" and she tweet another " I was hacked boo! The issue has been resolved"]

[A/N and fans tweeted this: " ARMY, attack the girl because she's the reason why trb was cut short she sent the death threat"]

However, later on she changed her words to say that she had been joking, or "trolling", and that she had not been at the concert venue, or even in the USA:

"I put my locations on i live in ontario do yall see that! Now please stop entering mentions and save me your crying. I'm not in the mood." "You guys are so gullible I found that picture on google stop over exaggerating I don't even live in America its not my fault ur all stupid"]

More confirmation that the gun threat was the reason for this whole situation came from the announcement about the cancellation of the Hi-Touch event in NYC, where fans were told that due to "very recent and serious developments concerning the safety of the members of BTS", the Hi-Touch will have to be canceled:

As her tweets spread like wildfire and ARMYs found out what had happened, the prankster deleted her Twitter along with her tweets.

As if to say bye and apologize for the abrupt cancellation, the BTS members have posted selcas and videos thanking New York fans. Most importantly, they seem to be alright.

Hopefully many will learn through this situation that a joke such as this one is not always taken lightly, and may prove to have sad consequences for everyone else.

-Habang papasok ang BTS especially Rapmon sa van nila after the concert has been cut may mga army dun sa labas na nagsosorry ng paulit-ulit sa BTS at nagsasabi din ng i love you (naiyak ako dun sa video habang nag sosorry yung ibang army TT.TT) sa totoo lang naaawa ako sakanila kasi possible na may iilan sakanila na matagal ng hinintay, pinag ipunan, at pinaghandaan yung concert, ang iba matagal ng panagarap na magconcert ang BTS dun tapos anyare sa pangarap nila hindi nila na enjoy ng sobra dahil sa bitch na yun, ang iba nga nag prepare pa ng flashmob para sa pagwelcome sa BTS na actually first time daw yun na may nag flash mob sa time square na ganun karami (70 participants) tapos ano dahil sa bitch na yun ... sh*t she had ruined everything >.<

-May nabasa din ako na may mga ibang K ARMYs na naghire ng five computer hackers para ma locate at ma hack yung bitch na nag post ng gun threat but I'm not really sure about this nabasa ko lang 'to.

-After the concert in TRBNYC nagpost ng dalawang beses si V sa twitter una "Big Apple, Thank You" which is in Korea Apple means Apologize so maybe V wants to apologize for the NYC Army dahil na cancelled yung High touch event , then the next tweet was "NYC, Thank you" and Suga tweet "Thank you New York!!!", Jin tweet "Thank You!!", Jhope tweet "Thank you New York~ 💋" and yey Rapmonster also post a tweet "THX 4 THA LUV, NYC" see how good they are, they still making a post for us true army para malaman nating ok sila at hindi na tayo mag-alala pa sakanila sa nangyari.

-Ayun din sa source ko after the concert in TRBNYC si Jimin and Jungkook sa fancafe naman daw nag post para sa K'ARMY yung post daw nila dun eh about kung gaano sila na hohomesick at namimiss ang k'army which is for me acceptable na gawin nila yun dahil sa nangyari sana maging lesson na 'to sa atin na international army, nasaan na ang peaceful, friendly and a family  kind of ARMY fandom dati bakit umabot na sa ganito!!!
