Jayden Shiba, once the steadfast Red Samurai Ranger, now towered over the ruins of San Francisco, a fifty-foot giant stripped of his morph and his confidence. The city that had always felt so alive was now nothing more than a battlefield littered with crumbling buildings and smouldering wreckage. He could feel the fear pulsing in his massive heart, a fear that had never gripped him so tightly before.

He stood frozen in place, his mind trying to process the terrifying reality that he was now a monstrous version of himself, utterly exposed and vulnerable. Jayden’s breath came in ragged gasps, his eyes darting around in search of the alien robot that had been stalking him through the city. The sound of distant destruction reached his ears, and he knew that the robot was drawing closer.

He tried to steady himself, forcing his trembling hands to clench into fists, but nothing could chase away the dread that gnawed at his insides. He was used to being the protector, the one who others could count on in the darkest moments, but now he felt like a frightened child lost in a nightmare.

A massive shadow fell over him, and Jayden’s heart skipped a beat. The robot probe, with its cold, glowing blue eye, had found him. The beam of light shot toward him, pinning him in place like a helpless animal. He wanted to move, to run, to do anything, but his legs refused to cooperate.

“No… please, no,” Jayden whispered, his voice quivering as the reality of his situation set in.

The robot’s eye turned red, its intent unmistakable. With a deafening crash, it lunged forward, its enormous metallic body smashing through a building as if it were made of paper. The force of the impact sent Jayden stumbling backward, his colossal form crashing into the remains of a skyscraper.

He felt the ground tremble beneath him as the robot closed in, its footsteps growing louder and more ominous. Jayden’s heart pounded in his chest, each beat a reminder of how outmatched he was. Without his Ranger powers, without his team by his side, he felt utterly alone.

He turned and began to run, his giant strides shaking the very ground. Each step sent shockwaves through the earth, but no matter how fast he moved, the robot was right behind him. The fear threatened to overwhelm him, but he pushed on, desperate to put some distance between himself and the relentless machine.

But running wasn’t enough. Jayden skidded to a stop, his eyes locking onto a nearby fire escape. It was a ridiculous plan—he was fifty feet tall, after all—but fear wasn’t leaving him much room for rational thought. He reached out, his massive hand crushing the metal ladder as he tried to pull himself up. The structure groaned under his weight before collapsing entirely, leaving him with no choice but to sprint down the street again, hoping against hope that he could somehow outrun his fate.

The robot crashed through another building, sending debris flying. Jayden cried out in terror as a chunk of concrete the size of a bus nearly struck him. He dodged to the side, but the movement was awkward and slow. His giant body felt like a prison, every movement a reminder of how vulnerable he was.

He spotted an abandoned car, its tiny form almost comical beneath his giant feet. Desperate and terrified, Jayden kicked the car into motion, trying to use it as a makeshift skateboard. His enormous foot slipped off, and he crashed into the street, the impact sending cracks rippling through the pavement.

“Okay, okay… I got this,” he muttered, the words hollow and unconvincing. He forced himself back onto his feet, trying again with another car. But fear made his movements clumsy, and he nearly toppled over as the car shot out from under him.

Meanwhile, deep in the city’s sewers, Kevin—the Green Ranger—was navigating the murky tunnels, unaware of the nightmare unfolding above. He emerged from a manhole, blinking in the harsh daylight, only to be rammed by a tram. Kevin was thrown into the air, landing hard in the back of the tram with a groan.

“Get in! I have a plan!” Mike, the Blue Ranger, shouted, his voice filled with urgency. He hit a booster button, and the tram rocketed forward, speeding toward the Golden Gate Bridge, where Jayden’s desperate struggle continued.

On the bridge, Jayden’s nightmare intensified. The robot probe was relentless, its massive foot smashing a hot dog stand as it advanced on him. Jayden’s stomach churned with fear as he realized he was out of options, trapped on the bridge with nowhere to run.

He glanced down at the cars strewn across the bridge, their occupants fleeing in terror. His heart pounded as he tried to think, tried to come up with a plan, but his mind was a fog of fear. He was supposed to protect these people, but now he couldn’t even protect himself.

Suddenly, the bridge shook violently. Jayden’s breath caught in his throat as he saw the robot’s claw tearing through the bridge’s cables, sending cars plummeting into the water below. The robot’s eye glowed red, and its jaws opened wide, revealing rows of deadly metal teeth.

“No, no, no! Get away from me!” Jayden screamed, his voice echoing across the bay. He backed away, his massive form trembling with terror as the robot advanced, its claws tearing through steel and concrete as if they were nothing.

Then, just when all hope seemed lost, a shadow fell over the bridge. Jayden looked up, his breath catching as Insectosaurus descended from the sky, roaring in fury. The massive creature unleashed a torrent of silk, blinding the robot’s eye. Jayden’s heart lifted, a glimmer of hope cutting through the fog of fear.

Insectosaurus lowered the bridge, giving Jayden and the terrified civilians a small window to escape. But even as he moved to help the others, the fear still clung to him, a dark cloud that refused to lift. He had survived this nightmare, but he knew it was far from over.

Jayden took a shaky breath, his massive hands trembling as he tried to calm himself. He was terrified—more terrified than he had ever been in his life—but he couldn’t let that stop him. The battle had only just begun, and as scared as he was, Jayden knew he had to find the strength to keep fighting. For himself, for his team, and for everyone who was counting on him.
