"Suddenly this prick beat him up!"

"He flipped his lid."

Areum scoffed, sure she liked hanging out with Zack sometimes, but this was not one of those times. Zack's little group was talking about he beat up some "pig" at the convenience store.

"I took a picture to ensure he stays silent." Doo bragged as if it was a great thing.

"What picture?" Zoe asked Doo.

"You wanna see or not?"

"Stop it. You thing I'm proud of hitting a pig?" Zack said to Doo and the others.

"Ooh hi, Daniel!" Zoe called out as soon as she saw him walk in, " come here! He has something funny to show us!"

"... yep, you wanna see?" Doo asked, unlocking his phone.

"So what is it~?"

"Yesterday Zack beat up a pig and... it's a nude pic of the piggy."

"You took a photo of that part?!"

"Yep, wanna see?"

"Dude, that's fricking gross. I don't wanna see at all!" Areum complained, of course she wanted to say something way worse, but with her past of being bullied, she decided not to.

"Nope~ I can't see either! Gross!" Zoe said, pretending to agree with Areum.

"Don't be so coy!"

"Do not show it!!" Daniel thought to himself, since not only was it embarrassing and wrong, but there were two pretty girls there!

"Zack's punch is lightning fast, really."

"I couldn't see his fist!"

Because the comments from Zack's group made Zack pleased and super smug.

"Hey, stop. I'm not proud of it." Zack said, clearly meaning the opposite, since he kept glancing at the new kid and Mira. But apparently he didn't hear Mira complaining about him to her desk mate.

"Enough. As a boxer, I'm not proud of using a straight punch to leave him groggy. I should've thrown a jab."

"What a pro."

"Oh yeah. He was fast. Why do I have to sit next to him of all people?" Daniel stressed in his head.

"Hey... Daniel..."

"Got a girlfriend?"

Two girls came up to Daniel, obviously looking to flirt with him.

"Huh?"

Zoe whipped around, seeing that these two girls were trying to take her spot.

"Danny~ what's up? Let's chill~ with me."

"Bitch! She's always prowling."

"Geez!"

"No one can stop her lol."

"She works hard hehe."

"Haha, come to think of it, that piggy's mom must be a piggy too."

"Pigs are born from pigs. Hahaha."

"What if the piggy brings him mom? Lol."

"Lol you lunatic!"

"Was she happy after giving birth to him?"

"Crazy ass!"

"I would've given him up."

When Han Park said that, it just made Daniel way angrier.

"Can you like, not? That's gross and stupid!" Areum complained, annoyed and disgusted by Doo, Han, and Kay. But before Han could actually say something back to her, Daniel spoke up.

"Hey, you guy... you've gone too far," when Daniel said that, Zack's group visibly flinched. A few people were pretty surprised that Daniel actually said that to them, since he seemed like the type to be interested in it, but apparently not. Areum couldn't lie, that was pretty great of him to actually say that. But being pissed, Zack kicked his desk away, making people move away.

"Hey. You're fucking funny you know that? Get up you fucking worm," Zack said getting up from his seat.

"..."

"Fight!"

News spread quickly about the fight between Zack and Daniel, kids from other departments came to watch the fight. But... Daniel wasn't in a fighting position at all...

"Oh my god... even if he's not a fighter, he's fricking hot..." Chaerin said to Areum, while Sua was in Vocal Dance, Chaerin was in Fashion with Areum, "poor Sua, she's missed out 24/7."

"I can't stand him... he barely even did anything. But Zack just had to do this," Areum said.

"Hey wuss. I told you to come at me!" Zack said in a boxing stance.

"Why's he just standing there?"

"Is he scared?"

Fuck, I was scared for no reason."

"Guess he's nog a fighter."

"Zack, stop!"

"Well this is sad to see..."

When Zack threw a punch, someone grabbed his wrist. It was that quiet and mysterious boy in their class.

"What's Jay doing?"

"Wow... first time I've seen him step up."

"Let go you dick!" Zack yelled, getting his wrist out of Jay's grip and threw a straight at Daniel. Everyone was already betting on Zack, but after Daniel quickly dodged Zack's fist, he shocked everyone and almost everyone started cheering and people started changing their bets to Daniel.

Seeing how the crowd quickly switched up their noise, Zack kept throwing punches at Daniel but he would just keep dodging. But Zack was able to get Daniel backed up against the lockers at the back of the class, and threw a punch at his face, being unable to avoid it Daniel caught it instead which shocked everyone that the transfer student was a real fighter. People started thinking of theories about why Daniel just kept dodging like maybe only his body was fast, maybe he hated fighting.

Zack quickly took back his fist and threw another punch, but this time, Daniel dodging and threw a punch to Zack's solar plexus, which knocked Zack down and made him start coughing in pain. People started cheering and calling Daniel the man. And Areum couldn't lie, that was damn cool... before she always had to pretend to be a lady and stay away from fights when hanging out with Mira with her makeup on, but now she could finally see one and it was awesome...

After the fight, the dean quickly showed up and dispersed the crowd, although he should've been here earlier to stop the fight. But news about the fight between the newbie and Zack quickly spread around school.

But during passing period to lunch, Areum found Daniel looking down while on his way to the cafeteria.

"Hey! Daniel! Congrats on winning that fight!" Areum called out running to catch up to him, which Daniel let her do, but he was surprised by Areum saying this.

"Oh... thanks..."

"Did you learn how to fight? Do you not like fighting?"

"Something like that... but I didn't learn."

"Don't be so modest. But either way you were ridiculously cool, you know."

Honestly Areum was mostly talking at Daniel, and not knowing what to do, Daniel nodded along, not knowing what to do. Mostly because he was nervous about what to actually say and the fact that Areum was really pretty and he didn't want to leave a bad impression on her.
