Autumn felt mortified, sad, angry, guilty, ashamed and livid all at the same time. So she ran away, to the one place that felt like home: the Slytherin commons.

She felt someone running after her , but she didn't stop, hoping it wasn't a Slytherin who could follow her inside.

She hoped wrong, because as soon as she got inside, she turned and saw Draco. Relieved, she sat on a couch, and he sat next to her.

Then he said something she would never forget. "You don't have to be strong with me."

Autumn curled up, with her head on his chest and cried her heart out. She was glad she had Draco, someone on who she could always count on. That was the day Autumn fell for him.

Draco woke up with a strange feeling of weight on his chest. He looked down and realized the strange feeling was the petite brunette that stole his heart and was now sleeping next to him.

Then the memories of last night came flooding back. After she cried her heart out, she said she was tired, and so he carried her to her room, but she said she didn't want him to go and so he laid down with her and eventually fell asleep.

When she also woke up they went to grab breakfast, but he could tell she was still sad about yesterday night. So he started to talk to her to cheer her up.

"Are you going to stay for Christmas break? I think I will, I don't want to go back to the manor." she looked up at him with a small smile and said something that warmed his heart: "If you stay here I will too".

But even if she smiled, he could tell she was still sad, so he told her: "Let's do something fun: now that we have the whole Christmas break together, let's think of something new to do together everyday!" he said, cheerfully.

She lit up and said: "I have the perfect thing for today!". Then she dragged him around Hogwarts, until they arrived to a room in an abandoned wing of the building. Before entering the room, she turned to him and told him: "This is where I disappear to every day for 2 hours.".

He gasped; he really wanted to know where she went, but never asked her, afraid to ruin their friendship. She opened the door and he saw a big room, with a sofa and two armchairs in front of a big fireplace, but the thing that really caught the eye was the majestic grand piano in the middle of the room.

"You play the piano?" he asked. "Yeah, but I never told any of you because I thought you would think of me as a music geek" she said shyly. "Are you kidding me?" he said "I would never think of you in such a way! You are so beautiful, and kind, and caring, and..." he stopped, realizing what he was saying.

She blushed profusely, and said: "Want me to play you something?" she asked, and he nodded. As he sat in one of the armchairs, she started to play a beautiful tune. He looked at her while she played; she looked like she was glowing.

When she finished, she turned to look at him, and he smiled and clapped. "You're really good at this!!!I could never!". She simply chuckled and patted the space next to her on the seat.

"Come on, I'll teach you!" Draco reluctantly sat next to her on the seat, and she began to explain about the notes, but he didn't listen to her. He was too busy to admire her beautiful face, filled with passion.

Then they began playing, and Draco faked not understanding, just so she would guide his hands with hers on top. When she checked her click, they found out it was really late, and if they were found out of bed at this hour, Filch would kill them, so they decided to stay there for the night.

They both laid on the sofa, her head on his chest, listening to his heartbeat. Then he started stroking his hand through her hair. He felt her freeze for a moment, so he stopped. But then she grabbed his other hand and intertwined it with hers. And that's how they fell asleep, his hand in hers, and his other hand in her hair
