Our love (A Draco Malfoy Fanfiction)

Chapter 8

When she woke up in the middle of the night, Autumn didn't wake up Draco, instead she watched him sleep. 

He looked peaceful at first, but then his face darkened. "Autumn, no!, Please, No!" he started saying in his sleep. She tried to shake him awake, but he didn't wake up. 

So she did the one thing that would calm him down. She kissed him, pressing her lips to his firmly, not letting go until she needed air. He didn't kiss back, obviously, but he stopped shaking and talking in his sleep. So Autumn held him in her arms until she fell asleep herself.

It was morning and Draco was awake. Instead of waking Autumn himself, he muttered a spell and the curtains all around the room opened, revealing the faint winter sunlight. Groaning, Autumn stood up and watched herself in the mirror in the corner of the room. "God, I look a mess" she said to herself. "No you don't" Draco replied from behind her. "Come on, get ready, today is my pick and I know exactly what we're gonna do!" He said.

An hour later...

"There is no way in hell I'm stepping on that with only these thin skates on my feet. What if I fall inside? What if I twist my ankle? What if I fall on my back and break it? What if..." Autumn yelled at the blonde boy skating all around the lake's length, twisting, jumping and doing pirouettes.

"None of that will happen!" He yelled back at her. "You can play the piano, I can skate really well. Nothing will happen to you as long as you're with me". And feeling reassured by his words, Autumn carefully stepped on the ice and tried walking. She was about to fall on her back just like she predicted, when Draco caught her from behind. "You see? Safe and sound" he smirked.

They went on skating, with Draco teaching her tricks, and ways to twist and pirouette. They even came up with their own couple skating choreography, and rehearsed it 3 times. In that choreography, though, there was a particular pirouette where Draco would spin her and she would jump and land with a leg spread open, but when they tried it the last time, she was about to fall, when Draco caught her, and now her back was resting on his arm while he was leaning forward. They were inches apart. Green met Silver. And for the second time that day, autumn pressed her lips to his.

Draco froze for a moment. "What the hell?" he thought to himself "The girl you like, no, love, is kissing you and you just freeze? Wake up! Kiss her back!" he thought. Autumn pulled off, disappointment in her eyes "Oh, I'm sorry" she whispered.

And then she ran away towards the castle, tears streaming down her face.
