Something about you is soft like an angel
And something inside you is violence and danger
I knew from the moment we met, you are a dangerous thing

A Dangerous Thing - AURORA
-
Ellie stopped dead in her tracks as she stood on her landing. Keys in hand. In front of her stood a woman, she realised how coming home today was very much her greatest mistake. In front of her stood her nightmare.
Lean, seemingly too tall even for her own health, yet so familiar.
"Qui t'as laissé entrer?" She asked, bringing her defences up.
Ellie said, holding onto her keys tightly. She walked backwards to the neighbour's door.
Mr Go opened his door because of the incoherent shouting on the landing to see the usually bright Ellie fuming with anger. She turned towards the man breathing heavily, though relieved to see him.
"Who let her in?" She asked pointedly, indicating towards the woman.
"I do not know, I have never seen her before, Sweetie." He answered. "Though, do you need any help? I can call Hyunsoo up if you want." He had heard the anger and tight exchange between the two women, though had not understood a word due to the language barrier.
"Please do that. I don't want to see her."
Her words were clipped, short and strong of her accent. Throughout the exchange, the foreign older woman stood there. Shocked by her own daughter. Who preferred talking with old Korean people than herself. Her own flesh and blood. Her mother, the one who knew best.
Ellie quickly slipped into the apartment in front of hers, thanking the elderly man and his wife standing behind profusely after he locked his door and made his way to the interphone, to call security. As her husband made the call to the security post downstairs, Mrs Go joined the girl in her living room, bringing tea she had been making for her and her husband. "Would you like me to call Jeonghan?" Ellie looked up surprised, quickly thinking about it.
