So, Daphne is a random person who just so happens to be super beautiful enough to be the next Psyche. And Eros and Psyche are still married but I guess those two can't procreate so they adopted Cupid. And Cupid before being adopted knew Daphne (they were six) and afterwards they didn't see each other much. But at Ever After High when she, Daphne, saw Cupid again she instantly fell in love but when they started talking Cupid said she loved Dexter and she was heartbroken but didn't want to ruin their friendship.
