Chapter 12

<Beth's POV>

To: Raven, Matt, and Cameron

Hey guys! Movie night at my place tonight? Let's plan on 8:30 and we can can figure out what to watch when you guys get here!

I hit the send button, and then glanced at the time. It was 12:30, and I hadn't eaten lunch yet. I closed my laptop, grabbed my keys, and headed out to my car.

I first drove over to chipotle for lunch, and ordered a chicken salad. Let me just tell you, it was delicious! As I was eating, I checked my phone to see if the others had responded to my text. I smiled when all of them said they could come.

After my Instagram worthy lunch, I stopped by Starbucks and grabbed a salted Carmel latte. I then drove to target.

I wasn't exactly sure what everyone was going to want to eat, so I just went crazy. I grabbed a box of popcorn, a package of coke, some brownies, and some rice crispy treats.

After my little shopping trip, I went downstairs to my home theatre to get everything set up. That's right, I have my own theatre.

It's a large room with five theatre chairs, with white walls and no windows. In the back is a microwave and a popcorn machine. Next to that is a mini fridge where I quickly threw the coke into. And it's all topped off with a humongous wide screen tv which is at least six feet wide!

I quickly set out all the food onto the counter, and smiled. Tonight will be fun.

I walked upstairs. "Hey mom, I'm having some friends over tonight, but we're just gonna be hanging out downstairs in the theatre so we'll be no bother." I say smiling.

"Alright, just don't be to loud! You're dad has to work late, and as soon as he gets home I'm sure he'll want to go right to sleep." She says.

"Alright, thanks momma!" I say, kissing her on the cheek and running upstairs. By now, it was 5:23pm, so I decided to hop in the shower.

I slipped my hair into a topknot, and looked at myself in the mirror. I was wearing a simple light pink sweater, and some skinny jeans. I had on a little bit of makeup, which was simply press powder, winged liner, and mascara.

I grabbed a silver chocker necklace, and put it on just as the doorbell rang. Winnie naturally went crazy barking, and I laughed.

"Shush Winnie! It's my friend!" I laugh.

I open the door to a smiling Raven. "Hey Beth, how've you been?" She says smiling.

"Great! What about you?" I ask, stepping aside so she could enter my house.

"I've been great. So am I the first one to arrive?" She asks, smiling.

"Actually, yes you are! I've got some snacks downstairs so go ahead and help yourself!" I say.

Only a moment later, the doorbell rings again, and I open it.

"Hey Matt!" I say, smirking as he rubs his arms trying to get warm.

"It is so cold outside, oh my word!" He says. "I ran all the way over here cause I was to lazy to get my baby out of the garage."

"Your baby?" I ask laughing.

"His car." Raven says, rolling her eyes.

"Looks like I'm the last to arrive!" Cameron says, from behind Matt.
