It had been a few days and i had recovered from my cold. I had been showing Jake around the rest of the rooms and we were currently in the library.
The library was my favourite, it was a beautiful beige room with an oak bookshelf that was made to fit the whole room. It had gold details here and there which topped it off.
"Jake." I said as we both leant against the bookshelf, he slightly lowered his head next to me, as he flipped through a book he mumbled a "mhmm" to show he was listening.
"I was thinking we should go out tonight?" I said. He shut the book and his eyes lit up, not having any clue the warm feeling he had on my heart.
"You mean a date right?" He slipped the book back into the shelf and crossed his arm while leaning, "i don't know if i'm free today"
I was getting super excited to hear his response only to hear that. I knew he was messing with me so i had to do the same.
"You should let me know soon because if you can't go i guess i'll have to go with someone else." I avoided his eyes as i walked down, trailing my hands against the shelf of books until i reached the long window.
I could hear Jake following behind me. I looked out the window for a brief moment and the turned around, my back directly against the glass. "So have you decided?"
"You know i always have time for you." Jake said, unaware of my rapidly beating heart, "you're not going to actually go with someone else are you?"
Jake stood in front of me and moved a little closer, "we'll see." I said while internally trying to calm my heart. Jake leaned in closer, his gaze fixated on my lips. I closed my eyes, predicting his next move.
A kiss.
Is not what happened, instead he tucked my hair behind my ears, i was secretly disappointed. I opened my eyes to reveal his smirk. "Why did you close your eyes?" He asked, pretending not to know.
"It's just that you look too good." I didn't know what to say and made up a truth on the spot. Not a lie because he was in fact immensely handsome.
"You wanted to kiss right?" He ran his hand through his hair, smiling. "We could just do it now princess ?"
That silly nickname always got me, but i was too embarrassed to say yes. "No, we need to get ready and then leave." I said, trying to head back to my room.
We eventually both headed to our rooms. I had booked us dinner because i had found out it was Jake's birthday from Heeseung. It would've been better if i had found out earlier but better late than never.
I wore a long black stain dress with a diamond necklace and earring, it was a matching set. I left my hair out with a little on the front on my right and the rest at the back.
It was slightly strange doing all of this myself since the maids would usually do my hair and makeup but it felt good to do it myself.
After i had finishing getting ready i had left my room to see Jake leaning against the wall. He looked even more strikingly attractive; i couldn't help but be in awe. He was dressed in all black, the sleeves on his shirt had been rolled back revealing his veins.
He walked closer to me as he let out a breathy laugh seeing my reaction, "you know you look way too stunning." He said placing his hands on my waist. "why don't we just stay home and take these off each other?"
