On the dead planet, Copper-9, there was a spire. Built by the ones who were inhabiting it and made from corpses of their victims, it was meant to serve as a makeshift home for the Disassembly Drones.

Three Disassembly Drones were present inside, sleeping like bats during the day considering sunlight is the only thing that can effectively kill them.

While two were peacefully sleeping, one was grunting and twitching throughout her sleep. Serial Designation A had been getting nightmares recently so this behaviour she was showing wasn't that uncommon.

However this nightmare was different, almost familiar. As she grunted, her visor read "exiting sleep mode" before two yellow oval eyes appeared and she fell to the ground with a yelp.

A: WAHH- OOF!!

Despite landing in the soft snow, it could sometimes give her a headache. Slowly getting up and retracting her wings, A put her hand to her head, patting the snow out from her rather long silver hair, though short enough so she could treat it normally. It didn't help her as she tried to calm herself down.

A's Mind: What the hell was that...?

She tried looking around, maybe seeing something else disturbing could ease her mind off of what happened. Yet all she saw were dead Workers that made up their home, broken scrap metal that littered the floor and the landing pod that had got them to this wasteland in the first place.

A: Wh-What is w-wrong with me...?

She looked down at herself. A wore a black jacket with sleeves up to her elbows. There was a yellow band on her left arm which showed her full name. She also wore black shorts that went with the jacket, from the waist down to the knees. Her shorts were also rather baggy at the bottom. She also wore a cyan cowl mainly because she hated the cold.

A looked towards the entrance, the sun had already set.

A's Mind: Well at least the night has started. Maybe I could go hunting a little early? It could ease my mind.

However as she tried to silently leave, A heard the sound of a Drone landing and wings retracting along with a familiar voice.

T: You're up early. Is everything alright?

Of course it had to be T. Her longtime crush and boyfriend was now questioning her. T wore a black raincoat, along with a T-shirt and shorts under it. There was also a yellow band on his left arm, showing his full name. T had well kept silver hair, along with what looked like a pilot hat.

Turning around, A quickly covered her face in her cyan cowl.

A: N-No! I-I mean y-yes! Everything's f-f-fine T!

He quickly smirked and slowly walked towards her.

T: Oh sure, everything's fine with my little cutie~ Seriously don't lie, what's wrong?

Realizing defeat, A slowly lowered her cowl before looking at him with digital tears in her eyes. This immediatly caused T to lower his smile.

T: 'sigh' Let me guess, another nightmare?

A: I-It was d-different... there w-was a m-mansion... a-and we w-were s-servants... y-you attacked me...

T's eyes filled with horror as a wave of horrible memories came back to him. It was then that A started crying. With quick thinking, T embraced her in a hug, putting one hand on her head and started rubbing her hair while A broke down in his chest.

T: Hey shh, I will never hurt you A. everything will be alright I promise you that.

They weren't that far apart in height, only 0.6 feet apart so A didn't have to lean over when she buried herself in his chest.
