Rong Yan's tall body stood straight, not at all unstable because of Qi Guanyu's actions.

He escorted Qi Guanyu into the door, and a plain-looking man with no presence followed Qi Guanyu in, carrying a medium-sized gift box.

After the others had gone far away, Rong Yan said to someone unknown, "Find someone to keep an eye on it."

There was no reply for a long time.

  ...

Ruan Ruan put on her wedding dress and opened her hands, allowing three or four maids to surround her and take care of the details.

Finally, she took a round fan, covered her head with a red veil, and was helped out.

The entire field of vision was red. When I lowered my head, I could only see a small bit of the road. As she walked, her red embroidered shoes would occasionally lift the hem of her skirt.

It was the first time for her to wear a wedding dress. Although it was a fake marriage, she was walking to the wedding hall with a veil on her head.

She still felt that this experience was a little too new, and she couldn't help feeling a strange sense of nervousness.

The person supporting her walked slowly so that she wouldn't walk unsteadily due to her restricted vision.

Even at this speed, Ruan Ruan still felt like it wasn't long before she arrived outside the hall.

Maybe it was because she was a little absent-minded?
Ruan Ruan didn't think much about it. When she stood beside Rong Yan, she withdrew all her thoughts.

The guests have all taken their seats and are occasionally chatting quietly with the people around them. Whether their expressions are sincere or fake, they all maintain a smiling look.

Qi Guanyu sat in the first seat, and the little servant who had followed him before had disappeared.

Fifteen minutes ago, Cheng Yong avoided people and came to a remote and quiet place.

He took out the gift box he had brought with him and pulled out a set of strange tools.

I saw him fiddling with something on his face for seven or eight minutes, and his whole face suddenly changed.

The people hiding in the dark kept staring at him, and when they saw him change into a familiar set of clothes, they guessed his purpose.

The next second, he struck at the weak point with lightning speed.

Cheng Yong only saw a dark shadow approaching and was knocked unconscious before he could react. He was tied up and locked up, waiting for the adults to make a decision.

On the other side, Qi Guanyu was getting a little anxious as the people he had arranged hadn't arrived yet. He was afraid that something might have happened.

He was not afraid of this matter being leaked out, but the good show he had originally planned could not be watched now, and his face could not help but look a little ugly.

  I underestimated him this time.

I wanted to take advantage of the crowded wedding to fish in troubled waters, but I didn't expect that he didn't relax at this time.

  ...

Ruan Ruan, supported by a maid, held up a round fan and walked in front of the crowd with Rong Yan.

The two of them were not too far away from each other, and as they walked, Rong Yan's eyes were always on the bride beside him.

They stopped behind the futon, in front of two empty chairs.

Rong Yan's parents died when he was young, and His Majesty had no intention of coming today, so there was no one sitting there.

Everyone became quiet on their own accord. Qi Guanyu looked at them sideways with a glass of wine, still feeling a little unwilling.

Rong Yan turned to Ruan Ruan, patiently waiting for the maid to help her turn around, a smile on his face.

He carefully touched her red veil with both hands through the fan and was about to lift it up -

"I should have come at the right time."

Qi Guanyao was eye-catching in his red dress, as if he was here to steal a bride.

All the officials reacted immediately and knelt down to pay their respects. Even Qi Guanyu and Rong Yan bowed. Ruan Ruan followed suit but did not kneel.

Qi Guanyao passed by a group of officials and sat down at the top.

With his chin in his hand, he looked at the two newlyweds in front of him, indifferently.

"Stand up." After a pause, he raised his chin.

  "continue."
