A hunt for lost treasure

Chapter 1

Welcome to the first part of the story. I hope you enjoy reading:))

In a desert. Yes a desert, where the sun shun bright and so bright thats exceedingly hot. But this is where we meet our first four characters.

"Ugh Jace are you sure we're going to the right direction? We've been walking for days straight and Ghericson is very dehydrated that he's basically melting"

"Yes Khian i understand and yes we are headed to the right direction, hang on too Ghericson, we're close to a village' Jace said with determination, it's true they were walking for 5 days straight and to be honest. Jace didn't really care as long as he gets to his goal then he'll be fine.

"Whats so special about those artifacts anyway?" Jay asked curiously as he carried their stuff "well, my father told me that those 5 lost artifacts are meant to be handled by righteous people, those who won't will bring eternal suffering to the land of the dead."

"And why are YOU looking for it" Ghericson lifted his head, he was being carried by Khian due to being dehydrated too much. "I just want to..or protect it." Jace told them, though he himself didn't really know as he just wants to find it.

"Then what do we have to do with this?" Khian asked getting tired and his back was aching. "Since you guys are my friends, i trust you three with this and i know you guys won't betray me..." Jace told them as they smiled.

A couple more hours passed and they finally stumble past a group of people. They ran towards the tip of the sand hill and their eyes widened at the sight of a city. The city of Desert Dew. With excite they ran towards the city and was greeted by a tour guide.

"Greetings adventurers, I'm Carl the tour guide, Welcome to Desert dew City" he said with a bright smile as Khian and Ghericson collapsed onto the ground "oh my..please follow me" Jace carried Khian while Jay carried Ghericson "Thank you..uhm Car. Your help is gladly appreciated" Jace said with a smile.

Carl led them to a hotel and since they're travelers, Carl paid for them for the mean time and took them to their hotel room.

As they settled in. Jace changed his clothes to something more comfortable, Jay drank 7 cups of water while Khian got Ghericson in the bathtub to get him soaked. "Is there anything else i could do to help?" Carl asked "Actually. I have a question" Jace stood up from a charging port as he charged his phone "Sure ask away" Carl smiled again "do you know  anything about the 5 lost artifacts?" When Jace asked, Carl's eye's widened and his smile faded.

"How do you know that?" He asked with seriousness in his voice "i-it's not normal for everyone to know?" Jace said as he got nervous, Carl cleared his throat and walked by the door.

"Get some rest. We're leaving tomorrow" Carl said in a low voice and with that he left. Leaving Jace dumbfounded, soon after, Khian and Ghericson emerged from the bathroom "Jace?" Khian said with concern "you okay bro?" Ghericson followed. Jace turned around and looked at them "i-i think we might have some new information"

After explaining, they were now VERY curious. "What does he mean.. get ready for tomorrow" Ghericson had the shivers down his spine. "I don't know but prepare the stuff. We have a chance to find the artifacts" soon enough they started preparing their stuff and went to bed for tomorrow. It's gonna be a long day.

HI WELCOME TO THE END OF CHAPTER 1! If you think it's a bit too fast that they're finding the artifacts then dw they wont juuust yet:) but before i end the chapter. Here are some character introductions:)

Jace Calvin Lockwood, 7'4, 47 years old, almond skin tone, mystical beast(lion:)) he wears a sleeveless turtleneck that is topped of with a jacket, baggy pants and boots:), he also has a few bandages on his arms due to fights.

Khian Daniel Frozenbelle, 6'7(6'9 with his heels which will be introduced soon:)), 46,honey skin tone, he is a moon moth with a rip in on of his wings but he can still fly and has a  very shitty eye sight, for his clothes he wears a white blouse with a victorian corset, ruffled jeans and sharp heeled boots. 

Ghericson Alex Vee, 6'3, 47, Golden skin tone, he is a megalodon shark with scars that glow in the dark with a cyan-ish color, he wears bandages to cover his top and knee length shorts, he lacks clothing because he's a shark(which explains why he gets dehydrated easily since it's hot in the desert) and bandages on some places of his body. 

Jay Liam Amorticio. 5'9, 34 years old, A Python snake, beige skin tone, he wears a blouse, a jacket, some pants and boots. He has some belts with various items like knives and potions they could work with.

So you've reached the end:) wait for the next chapter that is already been planned...but the clothings looks aren't.
